"Dated, with an 80s feel. Food was mediocre, and presented poorly. You're not getting your money's worth at this hotel. For what they are charging, you'd expect modern amenities, good variety of food, and updated rooms (it's dingy, old furniture and linens) in a 5 star setting. It's not the case here. Beach was excellent, though. In short, there are better options in this price range."

"The Residence Tunis was the perfect hotel for our first trip to Tunisia. The property is in a very quiet and safe location, and provides a multitude of amenities. The staff was incredible, helping us with anything we needed, from taxis to currency exchange, and everything in between. As an American, I highly recommend you stay here if you're considering a visit to Tunisia. "
