"We stayed here for a night and wish we could have stayed longer.. absolutely loved staying here . The rooms were clean and has a rustic feel. The staff were amazing. I would rate it 10* if I could . The location is great , tucked away from the hustle but close to town . You can get on a safari tour to see the elephants. Definitely will visit here again . "

"Having just spent 5 nights at this hotel we can definitely recommend it. It was ideally placed for our self organised tour of Sri Lanka and, from here, we visited the iconic sites of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and the fabulous Hurulu national park where we saw many elephants. Our lakeside cottage at the hotel was very quaint and we loved sitting on the decking watching the monkeys and chipmunks running around. But, the facilities are close to 10 years old, and being that close to nature has its «downsides», if you are not REALLY into it. Even so, we loved our time there.
