"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. "Great location obviously sitting right on the rim. Good food and wide selection of drinks. Good service. Strange you don’t get a Wi-Fi voucher for each night stay as we ran out on final night of our 2 nights. Appreciate you can buy more access but really for a hotel of this standard you should get one voucher per night. Trip into canyon worth doing, whilst it’s a full day and on some bumpy roads, to be able to get to swim and lunch near the bottom was a special experience. "

"We were warmly welcomed by Carla and taken to our spacious room with a lovely outlook into the bush. The room was simple but comfortable and clean. An excellent dinner was served outside and overlooking the warerhole where animals came to drink. Truly delightful!
