"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. Game drive vehicles are ancient. (One hour drive is R450, which seems really steep). I stayed at one of the ‘chalets’. As basic as it gets. "Wonderful lodge and spa in the hillside Okaukuejo, Namibia. They upgraded me due to COVID to a beautiful modern room with a speckling of antiques. The staff was attentive and warm. Food was excellent! Massage and a pool day was a nice break. Did a late afternoon game drive and a morning trip to see the Himba tribe. Wish I had stayed longer! "

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "

"This place exceeded our expectation. The owner Andre is the most amazing host, and together with his staff made our stay very memorable. The farm is huge and has an abundance of both domestic and wild animals. We learned so much on our drives through the farm! Andre always had cool drinks in his vehicle so we could stay hydrated in hot weather - very thoughtful!
