"We were welcomed by a friendly, attentive staff and shown to a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean and the hills. Each time we left, someone from the front desk would add a bit of helpful information to enhance whatever plans we had conceived for the day. Our rooms were always clean and fresh when we returned and amenities restocked. It's a short walk into the village, which has numerous restaurants and a beautiful jetty near the citadel to watch the sunset and cafes to watch the moonrise....

"Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. The staff were cordial but we were offered no help with our bags and the key card system was down when we arrived. The rooms were very nice and the pool was beautiful, though we never saw anyone there. At first we had sticker shock from the price but as our vacation went on we realized that Corsica is just one expensive place to be. The location was great in that we were close to some of the...

"Hotel staff where super, very friendly and helpful, this is a 4 star hotel though ! Pool and garden area not to same standard as the interior , rooms are small but clean and new, "
