"Fui con mi pareja a pasar el fin de semana a La Casa de las Hazas. No conocíamos la zona y nos encantó la experiencia. La casa está en uno de los extremos del pueblo, junto a una ladera, y tiene un terreno y una piscina muy agradables. Hay zona de parking. Nuestra habitación super completa, con una bañera/jacuzzi; y la atención de Hortensia y su marido fueron impecables. Son super agradables, nos sentimos como en casa todo el fin de semana. "Very quiet country retreat that is 4.5kms from a made up road,about 7kms from the nearest town which takes about 25 minutes to drive because of the rough track from the Finca. Dinner was worse, most of the crowd remained to see the Eurochampions final. "I arrived to find the hotel CLOSED probably for the Winter, but I wasn’t advised of this. After 1 full hour on the phone to Hotels.com (in America, God knows how much that cost me!) they put me in their sister hotel 6 miles away which was not bad, (but not fantastic). "We arrived on a hot day in May but the hotel refused to turn on the air conditioner as it was still getting cool at night. They had no fans either. They told us to open our "window". Except we had a balcony so the first night we opened our door (didn't feel very safe doing so) and were eaten up by mosquitos and the birds woke us at 6am.
