"We had a lovely welcome from the owner Pam, so friendly! She showed us our room and how everything worked and also gave us information about where to go for dinner. The pool looked a little cloudy but I think this would be down to the heavy thunderstorms that Gaborone was receiving. Probably not the best if you don't have your own transport - not a problem for us! Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"I booked this hotel for a 4 night stay for me and two work colleagues. Upon arrival on Sunday afternoon, 6th August 2023, the lady at reception said that she had no record whatsoever of our bookings and said that we couldn’t stay as the hotel was fully booked. When I showed her the paperwork from Hotels.com confirming the booking she was unmoved and refused to honour our booking. No apology although she did telephone a local guest house and they accommodated us for our 4 night stay."

"The lodge is ideally located in central Chobe National Park (preferably access with small plane at Savuti). Great for day safari trip. The GM couple is extremely caring and the staff very attentive to your needs. It's an amazing place. Prefer to go on dry season, as during wet season (Jan-April) animals are more difficult to see and some roads are flooded"

"Friendly staff.Elegant and comfortable living room with a table with comfortable faux leather chairs and a comfortable chaise lounge. Good to sleep in a comfortable bed after a very hot shower. Pleased to use a functional a microwave oven. Luggage stands appreciated as was a comfortable bedroom chair at a dressing table with a good mirror, functional aircon, good lighting, internet,and the launch service. "I liked the location. Very central, close proximity to a lot of things in gaborone. However, the food was very salty. Every chef knows by now that salt is not healthy. I ordered a seafood salad and could not eat it because they poured almost a quarter bottle of dressing on top. Dressings should be served on the side. I was not even asked for a choice of dressing. Smoking, on the first floor, there was a heavy cigarette smoke."

"Workers have low English proficiency . There was a challenge when trying to communicate with some of the workers. Although the reception and all other things were generally ok.They must improve in this regard. Some workers are good but only the one that I communicated with when I left the place"

"The host lady (forgot her name) is very kind and goes out of her way to ensure that the guest are well taken care of. She is an angel. The lodge is nicely situated and is well taken care of. I will not mind using it again."
