"The Octant is a great hotel. Location is perfect. The staff is absolutely amazing and very helpful. They certainly go over and beyond to make your stay perfect. The hotel is clean, up to date and the breakfast is soooo delicious!! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone that goes to Sao Miguel. This is one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed in. "This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It was the type of hotel experience one wants on vacation. When you see the pictures of this place on the App/website a daydream about your upcoming vacation, the reality is way beyond what you can imagine. The grounds are well kept, the view of the ocean and the surrounding landscape are amazing. It is a great sanctuary and base camp for adventures on the island. 20 minutes from Ponta Delgada, 25 minutes from Furnas, 30 minutes from Ribeira Grande, and roughly 60 minutes from Sete Cidades. Breakfast was great, they had everything. Spa, gym, rentals, and a nice cocktail bar. I can’t wait to come back."
