I was bitten very badly by BED BUGS. I was at one point a very frequent customer. Over time, conditions seemed to have gotten worse. I often would get itchy sheets with burn holes in them. My last stay there my body was covered in bites. There must have been a nest or something because they got to my foot and ankle the worst. The rooms tend to be dirty even when cleaned. My children often get reprimanded to keep their shoes or socks on because the floor makes your feet pitch black. Since then I have chosen other hotels without bugs to frequent. It sucks too because they really are a budget friendly option with no deposit, but you definitely get what you pay for.

It was a bit noisy. Stan at check in was great. Gave our fur babies treats. Beds were fine. Nice size TV for a motel. Not compared to our 75" but great for a motel. Lol.

The motel was very clean, the personal that I had dealings with were very professional but I did not have a lot of interaction with them. The only bad part of my stay was there was road construction on the interstate so passing traffic was driving on the rumble strips all night.

This place have a lot noise, We are trying to sleep during the night but we can’t because the noise from the I-80 west Traffic is horrible, we hear the cars like we are sleeping outside the Road not in a our Hotel Room , the windows is very Thin and we can hear the noise from outside and the noise from the AC

The staff was super friendly and I got my room in no time. The room could have been cleaner and it had a weird smell. Not a dirty smell but it must have been the cleaner they used, it was just a little overbearing.

Surprisingly clean in rooms, nice staff but you get what you pay for. Personally id stay a Super 8 instead bc price is same but this motel 6 is nowhere near as nice s most super 8s. Plus no breakfast at all. Go to ankeny.

This is clean comfortable place for a stop along I-80, especially if you travel with pets. A little unfortunate that so many of the travelers don't seem to clean up the messes in the surrounding area!

I like that it is right off of I-80 so that I don't have to worry about getting lost in West Des Moines cuz I don't know my way around there at all. I didn't like that even though I had requested a specific room I was not able to have that room as it was already occupied and the first room I was put into was a handicap room even though I am not handicapped. The two big issues I had with being put in that room were that it only had a shower and no tub and I do not like a shower because I don't like getting water I my face and the other issue was that it had a door connecting it to the room beside me and since I was a female traveling alone I did not feel comfortable about having a connecting door so I went to the desk and had them move me to a different room which the desk clerk did without to much of an issue with having to do so although he did try to tell me that he put me I a handicap room because that is what I supposedly booked but I don't think I did but I have not checked it yet to see if he was roght.

The hotel room was clean..didn’t have comforter on bed. The heater was noisy..also refrigerator was noisy. It was really loud from the road noise as they were doing road construction at the time I stayed there.

West Des Moines stop on way to see Jeff in prison.
It was extremely quick and easy to check in and I thought the room would be small because I was getting a low rate and that it would be dirty but I will be the first to say that I was extremely wrong the room was pretty spacious and I loved that it had a sit down shower in the bathroom. I also thought that this room didn't come with a refrigerator or microwave and while it didn't have a microwave it did have a refrigerator. I also asked for a 4 AM wakeup call and the gentleman at the front desk pushed a couple of buttons and it was set and it woke me.

We chose a this hotel due to their pet friendly accommodations. Soon after checking in we realized we had made a mistake. The surrounding area felt unsafe and there were drunk people loitering. You could smell weed coming through the vent in our bathroom. Loud drunk people yelling down the hall. We didn’t even stay the second night. We thought we’d give motel 6 a shot due to the pet policy and price. You get what you pay for.

Property is updated and very clean. Good value for money, however your right off I-80 so make sure you ask for room in front or you will hear traffic all night. Walls are thin so we heard person above walking half the night and dog barking across hall.
