Gorgeous room, really clean and good facilities... Lovely bed and pillows! Tv with all channels you could ever want!! Only downer was i could have done with a bottle opener 😄 will remember next time!! Will hopefully return sometime.

Good communication re check in and collection of key via text. Came to see son in Ulveston so good base for all of south lakes. Had room 2 on ground floor which was new clean and everything we needed. If we came again we would ask for upper floor and would prefer bigger bed.

Fantastic place to stay
So suprised when i opened the door, what a lovely place to stay!! So clean and fresh, an absolute credit to the owners and their family/staff Large shower, kitchenette with microwave, fridge. Everything you need. A family run business, so nice to see, i hope it goes really well for them. Will definately stay again.

Anniversary stay
Absolutely stunning and immaculately presented room. Great little touches of decorations for our anniversary. Well kitted out with smart tv, well stocked kitchenette. Very comfy bed. Wish we could have stayed longer

Lovely comfortable room in a beautiful building. It appears to be newly renovated with a good sized double shower which was amazing! Everything that you need was supplied, even much needed earplugs on the bedside cabinets! I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

It is a nice and very clean modern place with lots of space. The room came with earplugs. You might need them because you can hear lots of noise from the neighbours.

Thank you for your feedback Peter. We do have quiet hours policy in place at our property which we ask guests to follow. We also have signs in each room to respect neighbours during set hours. I apologise this wasn't followed and you experienced noise.

Superb find
What a wonderful find in south Cumbria. We booked without any great expectation but Chequers Lodge was FABULOUS! This was a modern Lodge-based accommodation and a well proportioned room with modern walk-in shower in a sizable bathroom, large King bed, superb TV (with Netflix available) and tea, coffee, hot chocolate options. What was great was it was self-access with a secure Lock containing the key - we arrived 10pm and found a large parking area, got the key from the lock and made our way to our great room. Dalton was sizable but also quaint. We ate in Rhina's Thai Kitchen - fabulous food and BYOB - a LARGE Co-Op just 3 mins walk from the restaurant had an extensive choice of drinks! Met the owner Liz in the morning who gave some travel tips for our travel back to Edinburgh via lakes. WILL BE BACK and already passed on details to family and friends.

Exquisite Accommodation
Excellent stay! Stylish and comfortable accommodation, recently refurbished to an exquisite standard. Kitchenette adds to the convenience. Easy for check-in and departure with great comms from the team. Great parking and good location, though Dalton has limited eating places of an evening. Defo be back.
