Many problems I encountered centered around the fact this is an older hotel and at the time of my stay was in the midst of a renovation. My room, alas, had not been renovated. The carpets were stained in at least 20 spots and were fraying at the edge. There was nothing in the kitchen area in the way of utensils, plates, glasses, the things you would expect if you were staying in a suite with a kitchen. The couch and chair were uncomfortable. The remote for the living room TV did not work and had to be replaced. The bedroom TV had fuzzy vertical lines on every channel. The beds were uncomfortable. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. The toilet handle had to be held down for at least 15 seconds until all the water was evacuated from the toilet for it to flush properly. My third floor room overlooked the pool, which had a distinct greenish-yellow tint to the water. The entire hotel was humid - lobby, elevator, hallways, and worst of all, my suite. To be fair, I was offered a full refund, but only after I had fully checked in and was informed of the renovation in progress. This hotel may be a cracker-jack hotspot to stay in after the renovation, but I will not be back to find out.
