"Lovely staff and great food"

"A week ago we were reading online reviews, trying to figure out where to stay in massive Rio. It was a 3 night trip before traveling on, and we wanted an escape, proximity to the main sights, a beach, and uncover a gem. Jackpot in Casa Mosquito. The owner Benjamin greeted us on arrival, some good juice and a welcome chill out after an 11.5 hour flight from London. The lounge was such a great vibe after the travel. "Great hotel across the street from the beach. Loved the beach chair and umbrella service provided by the hotel. Enjoyed roof top bar and pool. Great breakfast overlooking Copacabana Beach. Front desk staff outstanding."

"Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!"

"We had a suite so had a large bedroom overlooking Copacabana beach, living area window looked towards Christ the Redeemer , views were amazing. Beds and pillows super comfy. Bathroom and furniture could do with some updating but they were adequate and in good state of repair. Nice restaurant and fab breakfast. Staff were very helpful and professional and spoke good English. Great beach bar opposite with good ,reasonable food. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here."
