The hotel is very well placed for the express way to Holyhead, but being about 3 miles out of town, rather isolated. The staff were excellent, the rooms clean and the small gym very welcome. The park & ride is a short, but not pleasant walk.

Nice comfortable rooms, great breakfast and super helpful friendly staff, great two night stay at the holiday Inn south in Chester very convenient for park and ride, which is about 3 minute walk away from hotel. Will definitely stay again

Overall this hotel was ok but not not fantastic. Unfortunately our room as not clean when we arrived, and not cleaned properly throughout our 3 night stay. The floor was not hoovered at all and the bins were not fully emptied. Reception area lovely but the rest not so much!!

Chester visit.
One night stay, staff friendly and efficient booked in, in no time. Room in a quiet area of the hotel, although small perfectly adequate for my needs. Comfortable bed with plrenty of pillows. Surprised to find out the pool, jacuzzi, sauna remains open until 22:00, so had the place to myself for about an hour. Breakfast was excellent with good staff making sure all my needs were catered for. Hotel, although redecorated is showing a lot of signs that it is old and dated. There was cracked pavers at front of hotel, signs of damp in some of the communal area.

No aircon in 25°C room.
The room I was allocated had the afternoon sun warming it up before I arrived and the thermostat told me it was 25°C but the aircon was broken. The staff were friendly and tried to help but apparently the aircon was broken in many rooms and they didn’t have an engineer.

Fantastic staff
Amazing experience staff were all so helpful and friendly smiles all around engaging - it was an all round great location easy access loads of free parking The Welsh Croeso sign at the bar was a nice touch.
