"Everything was great apart from the safe in my room which had to be fixed before it would work and there was no coffee machine in the room which I asked for and it was provided. The cheapest ones could be rear facing (so no sea view) and not only that, they are positioned along a courtyard so there is no privacy at all. "We had a 1st floor apartment off the quiet shared courtyard. The apartment had everything you need, including some complimentary drinks in the fridge; the courtyard was shaded by a lovely lemon tree with plenty of seats and tables. Parking was in an off road compound some 100m away; well worthwhile as on street parking is very difficult. The manager, Alex, was a great character, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. "We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff were so attentive - always offering to help with advice or services. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice and constant coffee refills . Great way to start the day. The hotel is in an ideal location around 10 mins walk to the old town. Such a nice walk in too. If you’re driving then the hotel is located not far from the main highway road that goes through all of Crete. Really handy!"
