"I really appreciate the kindness that I experienced from the staff here. Unfortunately my trip was cut short due to delays but I wish I had stayed longer. The shower was absolutely amazing, I had stayed in 3 other hotels on my trip prior to this one and they by far had the best shower space, water pressure and cleanliness. "This is a charming family-run hotel right on the beach in Agia Marina/Platanias. The area is very touristy, but the hotel is quiet and very clean with "rooms" that are more like apartments! The kitchenette is very well equipped with all you need for cooking, and also to make tea or coffee. There are several small supermarkets within walking distance, as well as restaurants and cafés for all budgets. Buses run frequently on the main road if you wish to explore areas further away from the hotel....

"We stayed for 3 nights at the Lux Villa Ifigenia location in Theriso Village If you looking to stay in a very original, authentic home both unique and old-fashioned that is located in a very small and quiet village, this might be a good option for you. Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking.
