The staff were amazing at this hotel but on our first night we found an empty pop can behind the night stand. Then when we were getting ready to check out we doubled checked the room looking under the bed to make sure we didn't forget anything. I saw something under the bed, it was a bed bug lure! There was nothing in it thank goodness. We figured that was a good sign. Upon arriving at home my husband had a bite on him. I will never stay at this hotel again for that one reason. Bed bugs are the worst!

Don't let the run-down outward appearance of this motel fool you. My room was clean, sheets were crisp, bed and pillow comfortable and I enjoyed the conveniences of the cofee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The AC was a little noisy but I just turned it off as we didn't need it. If I'm back in the area, I will stay here again.

I couldn't stay there, I was trying to find a very last-minute place to stay, and they refused completely to refund my money. Shared responsibility between the three parties, but only I was who lost money in the transaction.

Thank you for your review. While we understand your frustration, booking non-refundable stays means it is not going to be refunded if you are not going to make it. Expedia gives you the option to make refundable stays for up to a day before arrival which was not selected in your case.

Whole room smelt like cheap cleaner, multiple layers of sheet protectors on bed with hair on them. Main door did not shut on its own. Tub had no anti slip on it so using shower was EXTREMELY slippery. WiFI was spotty but that could have been due to room location.

I was not made aware that the latest check-in time available is 9pm. Had to reschedule my plans for the day to make check-in. The room smelled like a musty basement full of sponges. The room was very cold when we first entered. The only thing heating the room was a cheap wall heater. No breakfast, no coffee. Should I go on?

Thank you taking time for leaving us a review. Your utmost satisfaction is extremely important to us. I wish you would have said something about the room after check in, we would have changed your room or refunded your money . Our check in time is stated on all reservation portal which is important for us. as it is unfair on guest who go by that. We have not listed breakfast on any site and coffee is available in the room. We don’t have central heating and is not turned on ahead of time due to past guest suggestions. Sorry you didn’t have a pleasant experience with us.

The person who I dealt with through my stay, from check-in to check-out was very kind and friendly. I over-slept past check-out time so she came up and woke me up and didn't complain about me not getting out of there until about noon or so. The place could use a little bit of an upgrade, especially the bathrooms but everything else was ok, bed was comfortable (Obviously). Price was good or great really. the big hotel chain next to it is over $200.00/night or more. I didn't get her name but I want to thanks the lady, who I referred to above, for everything and all her help with my stay here.

What ever they cleaned the room with stunk like old perfume. We had to open the doors to air it out. The toilet was wobbly. The air conditioner didn’t work very good. No continental breakfast. Will not stay there again.

After a very long and sometimes gridlocked travel experience from B.C. we we greeted by very friendly people who were very helpful and gracious. The room was perfect and the view of the lake was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Sadly dirty now, broken, rundown
Sheets AND towels had other people's hair on them, front desk didn't know the first room hadn't been cleaned at all (It was SO filthy!) and unprofessional looking front desk member. Broken bathroom door, rundown appearance now. Beautiful lake and used to great, very clean property to stay. It could be again with CLEANING and maintenance!! Right next to highway, but middle and far end rooms are quiet enough.

The toilet in my room that I checked into was already Plugged in the room. I checked went 6 hours before going to the office, which was closed at 8 AM. Still no to ask for a plundger, To be Curtis yes to the office staff. I do not wake them at 2 AM for a plunger toilet emergency at 7:50 AM when I did push the need assistance button on the front office door. The man who answehad one Eye open and was grumpy that I had pushed the button at almost 8 AM even though I'm at 6 hours without a working toilet. It seemed to me you couldn't be bothered to grab me a plunger out of that employee's only area area at eight a m

Thank you for your review. You checked-in at 4.30pm which I would assume that you had at least used the toilet once that was operational. Upon normal use the toilet randomly clogs, however, upon inspection of the room, there was puke all over the bathroom which leads us to believe that there was someone either sick or drunk. Nobody wakes up laughing and I was as courteous as I could. There is dialing instructions in the room to call front desk and the encounter could have been different if you had given me ample to come to the door.
