"I had a generally and genuinely a positive experience. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment. However, the bathroom door would not stay in a closed position and did not have a way to keep it closed, as it was a sliding barn door style with no latch, hook or lock, just kept sliding fully open. "This is an old school hotel - very nice. Unfortunately they haven't reopened the lobby bar. Pre-pandemic this was a great spot for people viewing etc, great drinks, I wish they'd bring it back. Sort of sad seeing the bar and lobby empty. Paul"
