The hotel was in location, the room was well kept and clean and so was the common areas as well; the staff was excellent. I made also included that the staff in the restaurant and the pool area was very accommodating and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends, family. Julio at the front desk was very kind and helpful, Ruth from the restaurant too.

Excellent hotel, very clean and convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Be warned it can get noisy due to the location but they do have ear plugs in the room.

Basic for the price. Shower drainage issues. They didn't address it. Asked for extra towels but never received them. I felt they catered to the Spanish speaking customers. Check in was slow. Location was good. Walking distance to many places.

Great hotel with amazing restaurant. Location was fabulous for exploring the old town. Getting to harbor for excursion to the islands was 5 min walk. Staff was friendly.

The room was tight and I didn't like that I had to download an app to open the room instead of having a key card. The room was clean enough, but I would have passed a vacuum in there. The staff was helpful, kind, and always available. Breakfast was great too.

La localización es excelente, se puede ir caminando a muchos lugares. El cuarto super amplio, limpio, cama cómoda. El buffet del desayuno es completo. El rooftoop bueno, refrigerios frios. En fin un excelente lugar para hospedarse, podría repetir.

The hotel is centrally located within the inner city. The staff and rooms are excellent. The neighborhood is no more noisy or filled with hawkers than any other part of the city. If you are looking for peace and quiet, don’t go to Cartagena. If you are looking for energy, color, music, and nightlife then this is the right city for you. The Catalina is highly recommended.

I had an unforgettable experience at the hotel. The attention, service, kindness.. everything. We are forever thankful. Location , location is perfect, you can walk anywhere, we walked to Getsemaní , cafe Del Mar , La serrezuela. Taxi from de airport 20 mil pesos and to return 30 mil pesos . Taxi to boca grande 15 mil pesos. We could see the alquimico bar from our balcony and the the back of the hotel looks to the portal de los dulces and La torre del reloj. The staff very attentive during the breakfast Edwin was always on top of everything that we needed there was another girl also very good yorelki don’t remember her name. The room very clean . The girl in the from desk don’t remember her name she help us with the excursion to bora bora very professional.We will definitely stay here again.

Terrible that the elevator was always broke and the conditions of the stairways are miserable. Terrible that I reported that the toilet was letting the water running and never got fixed. Amenities not available because of a wedding… and the back up at the Sofia… not good as they also were hosting a wedding. Very expensive to the low quality offered as a whole!

Rooftop pool with a view was a wonderful place to unwind after a day of walking in the hot sun. We found the TV in the room a bit too big for the wall it was on, and kept bumping into it when entering the room

Great hotel within walking distance to everything in the city center. One important note - this location has lots of rooftop bars, dancing and music until late at night. Also, this is central america, so standards are different - don't expect a tranquil European 5 star experience here. We did get excellent value for our stay. The room was nice size and very clean. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The food in the main restaurant was good and the food in the Incanto bar was excellent.

Santa Catalina was a great location for my vacation in Cartagena. With its beautiful roof top pool and bar. Amazing Peruvian dining option. Spacious and always kept clean room. I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff. I would like to mention that Jessie and Julio from front desk always made us feel welcomed and making sure we were always taken care of.

The general reception staff was very sweet and polite. The breakfast - sooo bare and plain, nothing absolutely nothing to write home about. The pool - super rough, those lounge chairs were so painful, horrible conditions. The umbrella at the pool flew over and hit my head.
