The Snowdonia National Park, or Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri as it is known to the 62% of the locals who speak Welsh around these parts, was the first national park in Wales, and for many it remains its finest.

Mount Snowdon lies at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, an area of unspoiled natural beauty in Central Wales. At 3,560 feet, it is the tallest mountain in Wales and the tallest in the UK outside the Scottish Highlands. Skomer is an island just off the coast of Pembrokeshire in south-west Wales. It is about a mile and a half long from north to south and two miles wide from east to west, formed of volcanic rocks, with sheltered bays, looming headlands and sheer cliffs.
