“Decent Little Hotel”

Decent little hotel, decent location. It was a little further away from all the other hotels since it wasn't on the main street, we always had a 15 minute to the bus stop, but we knew that from the beginning. The Staff were very helpful, Holiday Inn Express was one of 4 hotels we stayed at in Mexico, so we chose this hotel because we were going to be at the hotel most of our stay. Because we would be taking alot of tours. it is the perfect place just to come back and take a load off and sleep. Watch out for Martha next to the reception, she is one of those Time Share Presentation people avoid her at all cost. There is a 24 hour taxi service outside the hotel, which is helpful if you have to take an early morning flight like we had to. The price of the transportation to and from this hotel is $20 or 250 pesos, do not pay anymore than that. NEGOTIATE LIKE HELL. I brought the guy down from $80 to $17. The breakfast was ok, and adequate. We should have negotiated for our tours we paid $65 each for the Chichen Itza tour and $60 each for the Isla Mujeres tour; later we found that we should have only paid $45 each for each tour. They decorated our room with towel swans and flowers on the 2nd day because we were spending our honeymoon in mexico. all in all decent experience.
