The beach at this resort is second to none. If you've been there, you know! The service is as equally impressive as the beach. Eduardo and Ivette are the best! The dining options are limited, but the restaurants have good variety and the food quality is great. The resort has a pretty low key vibe. If you are looking for a nonstop party, this isn't your place. It is walking distance from downtown Cancun. Coco Bongo and Senior Frogs are less than 5 minutes away. Ultimately, Altitude at Krystal's is a place we will go back to time and time again.

Expedia messed up our reservation. We booked in the altitude all inclusive. But when we got there, we were treated very poorly, no inclusive, we had to go out n buy food we spent at least $1000 until we haggled to get what we originally reserved (all inclusive at the altitude). We weren't even offered a drink when we arrived in the heat of summer after long flight. Horrible vacation, worst ever, mostly spent on haggling and teaching staff how to be courteous and polite to young ladies.. Staff didn't even offer to contact expedia to check. We spent hoyrs on the phone to fix the problem.. Moved 3 times in different rooms. Not worth the money at all. Beach isn't tgat great either

Friendly staff service is attentive and responsive, rooms were spotless and the facilities were well maintained. Excellent hospitality. The only negative experience was the buffet not much to choose from. Room service is excellent, restaurants on the property were excellent as well.

Beach location is perfect with clean sand and enough chairs for relax. Restaurant booking is demanding that needs a bit of luck. Overall it is a fantastic hotel. I will definitely choose it again for next Cancun visit.

The hotel is WAY over priced for the overall experience. You can't get reservations to eat at any restaurant unless you are in the lobby at 8am waiting to be first in line. The buffet is fine. Room service was good but not many options. Selection of alcoholic was slim. We stayed in the altitude tower and evidently that is the nicer side of the resort. The pool with the swim up bar was dirty 3 out of the 7 days. The only staff member that deserves to be recognized is the pool server Oz! He made our time at the pool wonderful. The massage at the resort spa was great too. The beach was packed with people and garbage.

We had an amazing stay at Krystal Grand Altitude Tower. The service was incredible, the staff was amazing, and we had no issues. Everything was clean and in great shape. The food was phenomenal. As someone with a lot of dietary restrictions (gluten free and vegetarian), there were tons of options for me. Every restaurant we went to was very knowledgeable about what was in the food and what I could eat and what I could not eat. I was blown away at how many gluten free options there were at Restaurant O. The buffet there was so good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The walk to the clubs was also really safe and short. It only took us 5 minutes to get to the clubs and even coming back at 4am, we felt safe. We will definitely be staying at Krystal again!

The good: The views are as advertised. Beautiful grounds. clean pools and rooms. The bad: There was enough staff with poor, unhelpful attitudes to dampen the stay. The air-conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat so we sweated in the room until night time. dinner reservations were booked up before we could even make any each day of our stay. you have to book them at 9am each morning. We tried at 9 am every day and still couldnt get them. Then you have to walk in wait for food at dinner time. very

Made reservation on Attitude Kristal, they move me without explaining to Grand Kristal, they told us better room. No hot water to bath or no water. My husband took a video of it. After doing our check in the concier send to another worker so she can explain to us how the used of the hotel. She was a Time Share sales did not know a lot except you need to go to a 90 mins presentación. It was our 38 year of marriage and never experienced such a bad service. To make reservations for dinner is almost impossible, all reservations are taken by the Attitude Kristal since is there time share member that is what I was told by one of there employees. We had a really bad experience from beginning to end. We tried several time to explain to management but the staff do not care.

The best part of the Altitude hotel at Krystal Grand Cancun is the adjacent beach which is almost private and crowd-free. The staff members were very helpful and they try their best to meet guests needs. If the hotel management can setup an arrangement of transportation to and from the hotel, guests would appreciate the service even more!

Altitude Tower review (Krystal grand is a 1 star) Only giving the pace a second star because of the room view - we splurged on the best room they have ti offer to get to the second star. Food - you have to reserve a table every morning at 9am sharp for dinner and if you don’t by 9:30 you’re told all tables are taken. Food is average at best - the Italian restaurant serves frozen pizza you’d get at your local grocery stir and the Sushi restaurant makes Whole Foods sushi seem like a Michelin dish. Location - close to all the clubs if that’s what you’re into but the downside is noise Service - hit and miss Would I recommend - hard no.

Not happy w a few things. No beer in mini fridge. When we were told to go to the lobby bar, no on was there. We back up to the room call and see if we could get a couple beers brought up (1030pm) since we had just arrived. Then your employees seem unhappy. We meet a few nice one like Ivette, and YASIR. The rest acted like they were disgusted by us being gay. Then the food. What happened ? The he quality of the food went down. It was very poor. The from the front desk that we never were welcomed like when I brought a woman last year. We we were. treated so well. This trip you made us all feel awful and in not welcomed. The beach was the best part but even down there the servers ignored us and WE TIP EVERY TIME! I know you don’t care about lot hai and nothing will happens in regards to this , but in one year you’re resort went down hill. I will be staying at FESITA AMERICANA NEXT. They don’t care we’re gay like you do and treat us w respect.

Dining was limited to only 2 restaurants and buffet for dinner. Our second experience at Ayami was very dissatisfying. Everything our party of 6 ordered was ice cold and took over an hour. The grounds, restrooms and beach area could be cleaner. It was a bummer that main pool was closed an entire day due to water issues. The grand tower lobby was always too hot to enjoy. We wished they had some type of entertainment at night or even activities by the pool during the day. Also wish there was a covered area outside to sit even if it was raining. Our favorite part was our pool side waiter Alejo and salesman Jose. They made our day enjoyable everyday and gave the best service of anyone in the entire resort! Not sure we would stay here again, but enjoyed our time while we were there.

First af all, my reservation was fully payed in advance through the app hotels.com , when we arrived at the krystal grand hotel , they didn’t find our reservation … they argue that there was no reservation made , eve though we were showing to the front desk clerk , our confirmation from hotels.com They didn’t care and they were closed to any solution , we were just about leaving the hotel It was until three hours of waiting to see what’s we were going to do , that Mr sanchez de manager of the hotel help us and the reservation was found …

Our stay was not good I told them about the A/c not blowing strong. And they only came up once’s after they I complained 3 times out of my 5 day stay. The room would get up to 74 degrees with all the curtains closed (Cancun was about 82-85 degrees out) and the A/c on full blast. Could not even enjoy our nice view and had to sleep with no blankets. And kept waking up in the middle of the night. I tried to complain about the room out they seem not to care was offed 5 floors down and no discount. I will not be staying here again.

The location is the absolute best part, and probably why they have such great reviews. Definitely the best beach, and we’ve stayed at a few hotels all over the Cancun strip, Playa del Carmen, and Riviera Maya. But the hotel is so limited. Only 3 sub par restaurants. One was closed the entire time we stayed (5 nights) and the other closed a couple nights as well. The buffet? Laughable. I’ve never, in any all inclusive hotel, have seen one so small. The air conditioning was out the first 4 days of our five night stay in the restaurants, the lobbies, and even our first room that was ocean front (as paid and reserved). They switched us after it was out again the second day to a larger room, that had an excellent view of the back of the other tower. (Sarcasm). This is not the staffs fault, they were mostly excellent. Emiliano on the beach was our favorite and he took great care of us every day. Drinks were good. But I find it hard to believe such a large chain of hotels with absolute prime real estate space on the BEST beach does not make the hotel better. Dumbfounded at the minimal food options. I’ve seen buffets larger than the entire restaurant where the buffet was located. There is no entertainment at all anywhere on the premises. I saw an entertainment team walk around a couple times, but never saw anything going on day or night. Our room was decent but mattresses were not comfortable. The one thing that was pretty good was the breakfast at Altitude tower.

Hotels.com disaster service
They didn’t let us check in. They were nasty. They made us feel terrible to the kids didn’t have air conditions in the rooms that worked. We felt very very let down the hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone and using your service and all your people in Hotels.com was a disaster. No one helped us.

Terrible service
We really had a very hard stay. They didn’t let us check in till five hours later the air conditioners broken two rooms they never gave us accommodations. It was just a really disappointing stay in. Hotels.com did nothing to help us.

Don’t use Hotels.com
Did you accommodate us? The rooms are not cleaned well they there was no air condition working in the rooms of the rooms it was super disappointing we can talk to hotels.com. It took us two hours to connect anyone no one cared. It was zero service.

There was no air conditioner working and two of the rooms and they did not give us credit and I did not upgrade us or they didn’t even care called him four times the middle of the night two days in a row

Beautiful property really nice room u should definitely book the corner suite ocean view I personally didn’t care for the food but I didn’t try any restaurants I just went to the breakfast buffet and had room service!! But I didn’t go to eat so the free food beats having to go out and pay for something they need stronger ac and more water pressure in the shower but I still give them a 9/10 oh and no guests unless they’re staying at the hotel kinda sucks cuz I went solo and couldn’t bring guests back and a lot of families do with that what u will lol
