The only thing I didn't like was there was only one elevator & in a hotel of this size it was very slow & inconvenient especially in the morning.

The hotel was decent enough for a few night stay. The hallways had a horrible smell by our room. Our bathroom had no fan and was very humid after showering. Likely due to this over long-term, there was mild on the ceiling in there. The hot tub was closed throughout our stay and there was a sign on the door from public health ordering the closure which was a bit concerning for us. When asked we were told it was closed while awaiting for a part to come for repair.

If I could give a negative starts I would!! Staff went into our room while we had a do not disturb sign on our door, did not call our cell phone to enter our room if there was need to,they called our room…what good is that if we were in the shower or not on the property . Room was falling apart, keys had to be redone multiple times,room smelt like curry, pool was trash and staff was unprofessional ,tv didn’t work. Could not pay me to stay there again,charged us an extra $110.00 on our cc with out acknowledging. They dont deserve to be IHG!

Staff was pretty good, but property itself was below average. Toilet didn't had exhaust fan, taps seemed to be holding in place with just silicon. Carpet had stains on it.

False advertising. They don't tell you the pool is out of service until you check in, after you've paid!! Refused to give any kind of refund. Try explaining that to 4 children who were promised they could go swimming before bed!

This property is extremely dirty! Not to mention the hot tub was out of order, pool was ICE cold with families leaving with screaming children because their kids couldn’t swim. Door handles falling off exterior doors and not to mention the extended parking (says it is included) BUT it is absolutely not, $10 per day. Do yourself a favour and pick somewhere else! I tried to deal with them directly to avoid this review. But they did not seem to care! Book somewhere else!!!

The property is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The 2 bedrooms suite that we stayed was very spacious that we did not expect it at all. We would love to stay at Staybridge again if we ever go back to Calgary.

The front desk staff was amazing and so kind throughout our stay. The room we got was dirty and the 2 other options were just as unclesn as our original room.

Pet friendly but when dogs barked, they treated our dogs like criminals. Not recommended for pet fur parents. Supposed to stay for 2 nights and 3 days, but checked out right away after staying for a night as the next morning we got a call about our dogs barking all day, but we were only out of the hotel for an hour lol will not come back again. Been staying in hotels for years, first time this happened to us to move to a different hotel just because our dogs barked. DOGS are meant to bark! You can't stop them specially if they're hearing people jumping on the top floor and people talking outside. Also, limited towels and blankets. Shower's broken, more water coming out of the sink than the shower head itself.

A little disappointed that we were only notified at 4pm the evening before our stay that the pool was out of order. We were offered a pass for a swimming centre near by but it was super inconvenient and out of the way. We were looking forward to swimming every day with our kids who were on spring break. That being said the hotel was super nice and we would definitely stay here again

The idea of a bedroom suite is great but it's so cramped it's hard to move around at all, in addition the pool broke down after the first day and so we spent three days with our kids looking for other activities to do when we had planned specifically for them to play in the pool and on the water slides.

A family friendly hotel. The kitchen area is really useful although the location is far from downtown there are nearby restaurants available. Surely we will book in this hotel again.

A great effort is being made to update this property, however it's age is still showing through. Our one bedroom suite had doors that were filthy and falling apart, dirty chipping kickboards, however the beds were so comfortable. The lights, counters, fixtures and much more were updated. The breakfast was very good. Pool was cold and dark. But the slide was good and the hot tub was great.

They were training staff when we arrived so the check in was a bit longer than normal I'm sure. When we called in for a shuttle we were told just to use a taxi and have the driver come in to be reimbursed, our taxi driver seemed a bit upset about it but it did cause him a wait as well. We were able to stay in a multiple bedroom room which was awesome as we were travelling as a family. The room was spacious and clean and would be great for a long term stay as it had kitchen amenities. A restaurant on site for supper would have been convenient but there were restaurants close by, we just needed a cab as we didn't have a car. I would have no problem staying again.
