The staff were wonderful and welcoming and our every need taken care of, and the Sermest Café has some of the best food we tasted while in Istanbul area.

The hotel was lovely and quiet, away from the busy tourist areas. It had a garden and cafe. The staff was very helpful and helped navigate a route back to the mainland in the area where I needed to go.

Guzel bir haftasonu secenegi
Misafirperver bir sekilde karsilandik. Otelin konumu, odanin ferahligi, temizligi gayet guzeldi. Havanin soguk olmasina ve cati katindaki suit odada kalmis olmamiza ragmen kaloriferler yeterince isitiyordu, klimayi acmaya gerek bile olmadi. Tekrar kalmayi tercih edecegim bir otel.

If I wanna describe this hotel in one word, It would be COZY. You can find lots of little good-feeling things in this place. Strongly recommended!

Although the hotel was nice, unfortunately, the owner/manager completely ripped us off!!! We ended up paying £240 for a one night stay!!!! I had already paid around £70 through Expedia for the one night and then I told the manager I was hoping to stay for an extra 3 nights...he therefore upgraded us to the suite at a special rate. Unfortunately, due to a death in the family I told the manager on the first morning that I would only be staying one more night, he told me that I had to pay him an extra 180 euros for the extra cost of the suite for the night (I had already paid for) and an increased rate for that night. I was so upset after hearing the bad news from my family and then this felt like an added stress. He then said that if I didn’t go down to reception and pay the extra money he would just take it off my credit card!!!! I felt too uncomfortable to stay another night in a hotel where you are threatened about money, it was so disappointing, so we left after paying the 180 euros, he charged us for the second night because we checked out at 1.30pm rather than 12!!!! I could understand this mentality more if they were busy and turning people away, but we were the only guests in the hotel for the night we stayed!!! Not surprising after you see how guests are treated!! I also expected a little more empathy after the news I had just received! Altogether an appalling and extremely expensive disappointment!

Dear Ms. Solari, We are very sorry to read you did not enjoy your stay with us. Our aim is to satisfy all our guests from the moment they make their reservation and until they leave our hotel. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify some points; we received your 1 night reservation along with your email, mentioning you might extend your stay to 4 days , if we could upgrage you to a Suite. We shared the regular prices of a suite and special rate for 4 days. You agreed to take the Suite and stay 4 days. After the first night you said you changed your mind and wanted to stay 2 nights. Then we charged you the regular price of the suite for 2 nights. On the second day you left your room at 15:55 according to our system and not at 13:30. Thank you & Regards, Serguzest CR Team

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Small room.
Location of the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the ferry port and it is up a moderately steep road. We arrived late in the evening and discovered that they were not expecting us. The man at reception, though very polite, had to check the booking and it took several minutes before things were eventually resolved. We had booked a standard double bedroom and discovered that the room itself was quite small and the en-suite was disappointingly very small indeed. There was a small bottle of water supplied between the two of us and this was not replenished the next day. Room cleaning was just adequate - basically towels were changed and the toiletries replaced but the bed was left unmade. WiFi appeared to have some issues from time to time but was generally adequate. On the plus side, the breakfast was excellent and all the staff were friendly.

A delightful getaway close to Istanbul
The hotel was a most pleasant surprise , entirely fitting to the island Very pleasant hosts who were very helpful & knowledgable We had the large suite & nothing could be faulted, from comfort of bed & pillows to bathroom & spacious balcony Breakfast was lovely ( altho lacking in gluten-free options). Proximity to center as well as sites convenient & easy. We were recommended a delightful restaurant, Loçada, & were not disappointed- felt transported to a Greek island restaurant of top quality We will definitely return , God willing

Otel konum olarak iyi iskeleye yakın. Ama tek iyi yanı bu sanırım. Tekli yatakları birleştirip çift kişilik yatak yapmayın rica ediyorum tüm otel işletmecilerinden. Acayip rahatsız edici oluyor. Dinlenmek için gittiğimiz yerden belim ağrıyarak döndüm. Bir de gece ahşap olduğu için en ufak tıkırtı odadan duyuluyor. Çocuklu aileler, bir de üstüne saat gece 3-4'te yaşanan olaylar uykusuz da bıraktı. Ses yalıtımı sıfır. Odalar küçücük, temizlik orta seviye, kahvaltı idare eder. Adada çok daha iyi oteller var, bu puan hakkı değil bence.

Oda iki kişi için yeterli büyüklükte, terasın pek bakımsız olması ve kışın pek kullanılmasa da odanın sırf terası olduğu için ek ücret alınmasını pek doğru bulmadım. Banyoda diş fırçası yoktu, şampuanlar sanki yeni değildi, yatak çarşafları temizdi ama bazı pas lekeleri vardı, çift kişilik yatak yerini tek kişilik yataklar birleştirilmişti, ikramlar ve kahve oldukça hoş bir artı olmuş, kahvaltıyı da çok beğendik oldukça lezzetli ve bol çeşitliydi. Bu dediğim bazı eksiklikler de tamamlanırsa şayet konum olarak oldukça iyi bir otel olabilir.
