In fairness to the hotel, I’m not anywhere near Iowa. I’m sure it’s a lovely place (I’ve rebooked for a stay in July), but while it was always my intention to book in July, somehow when I got the email confirmation, it showed a February booking. I contacted Hotels.com immediately, and while the agent I interacted with tried to help, ultimately there was no resolution. I’ll chalk this up as a lesson leaned…a $165 lesson.
