Only of you are ok with camping !
We were not expecting much since the price, but there was a water leak in the coridor...like litteral water pooring down! and no ventilation in the bathroom so you could see humidity damage... the bed's" mattress " was just foam and completely flattened on one half of the bed. I personaly camp often so just having a shower felt like enough and i was ok, but my friend thought it was unacceptable and would have paid more for a proper bed. So yeah, know it is a bit schetchy but hey, if you can sleep anywhere, it does the job for cheap

Disappointing and old
It was a disappointing stay, from the arrival (quite a rude person behind the checkin) to the room and the facilities. Everything is old, the beds are really bad, it feels like nothing has been done to the hotel in 25 years. The lights were not working or empty, except a very small light. The heater is not running all the time, so it was very cold in the night. The only good thing about the hotel is the shower, warm and powerful. We will definitely never go here again, and everyone else better stay away

Ideal location in Brussels!
Amazing location with such ease to get anywhere in Brussels! We were thrilled to find the hotel knowing how close it was to all the sights. The room itself was ok - bathroom had a gross smell and was dirty, but the bedroom area was fine. Wifi worked well most of the time but would drop in and out. Front desk staff were great and check in was the fastest we've ever experienced!

The location is close to both the train station and the main sights. The bed was uncomfortable because it sagged in the middle. Noise from other rooms travels through fire escape

Very good location, walkable distance to the centre of the city. Basic conditions as expected. Unfortunately no internet in the hotel during my 2 day stay. The receptionist tried to persuade me that it was a problem with my iPad not their fault at all and advised to go to the shop to sort out my gadget. My iPad was ok, it worked everywhere except the hotel.

NOISY, NEEDS daily cleaning of rooms
Very good location , but very noisy and bed linens are not changed daily. NO BED BUGS as earlier seen on previous reviews. Towels changed daily but room is not properly fixed and tidied. Slippery bathroom because the shower floor is not separated from the whole bathroom floor. The shower curtain keeps on falling down because of the poor fixture used.

A basic hotel
Check-in was very helpful, but room very basic and quite small for my son and I. The restaurant next door was good and it wasn’t far from the centre, but some help about how to get there would have been helpful. For the money it wasn’t bad, but a bit of extras would have made it more enjoyable!

Numbers don't lie; a 2 stars hotel
The room was cold and had to go down 6 flights several times to talk to the reception because threr is no phone in the room...even when the heat started working it was cold- we asked for a second blanket and got one. Other than that the location is great and the room was clean.

Great location
Perfect for one to two nights. We were in Brussels for 2 nights, but only needed one night to sleep as we were leaving for Kraków early on the Wednesday. The hotel were good enough to hold our cases until 2.30am after we checked out. Small rooms, but more than sufficient.

For 60 Euro/night, think twice!
Receptionist were very nice, but for any complaint they should ask the boss first. TheTV was not functional at all (4 days)!! They answered that the problem was in all the rooms (this should be a consolation for me, I assume...). I asked to speak with the boss but he was allways mssing.

Nice hostel
We stayed her at the start of our European travels and it was a lovely experience. The hostel was in a nice location and not far from the centre of Brussels. There was a cafe next door which served a nice breakfast and takeaway lunch which was really good value. The room was clean and the service was good. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an infected place with bed bugs discovered in my room, stay away from it!! Located in an old building (a wall picture shows hotel in 1910!), it has a narrow staircase and small rooms. Although sheets looked fine, it is obviously not a clean place, and hotels.com should review its listing. The staff was helpful in offering directions in Brussels etc., and it is relatively cheap and close to major attractions, but it falls sort of the basic standards of hygiene, and I have demanded compensation for my two nights of stay the hotel failed to respond. After hotels.com contacted it on my request, the staff pretended there was no problem since no official complaint was filed. Perhaps, one should file an official complaint in Belgium about this place which was my worst experience on a trip to Europe and in fact anywhere in the past several years.

BED BUGS!
The hotel is infested with bed bugs. Other guests faced the same problem (a couple of ladies were making a complaint to the receptionist as I was checking out).

Extremely bad service and rude staff. My check-in experience was awful and the staff was very ride and unhelpful. The room was small and bed was uncomfortable. I rated my check-in as "bad", and on the next day, I received the following response ---- The Hotel Mirabeau read your feedback and here is their response: "Dear sir , Do you want to leave the Hotel ? Best regards". The "manager" seriously needs some training on customer service.
