Convenient location, all the standard benefits of a chain hotel. The breakfast was excellent with lot of vegetarian options. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff responded promptly to requests. There are plenty of food options within 2/5 min. Of walking distance. Well connected transport wise.

This was a good hotel - it had all the amenities needed, including fridge, bathtub and a complimentary coffee machine. The location was great - right next to transportation and lots of dining options. Would recommend.

Location was great, 5 min to Schuman Metro/Train station or express bus to the airport. Rooms were a lacking in lighting, even with the shades fully open the desk area was a bit dark so would be nicer with more lighting. Little cafe at the front had all you need for a quick breakfast.

Central, right next to EU buildings, yet the old part of the hotel did not have workign internet and the eoom was dirty! After complaining twice at the reception, I got a free upgrade in the new part, where the internet worked. While I appreciate it, it should not have been that hard.

My boyfriend and i have been travelling around europe and this is undoubtedly the beat hotel we've stayed in so far. The staff was very friendly and the room was stunning. Only thing is that its not super close to central brussels but that gave us an excuse to rent the electric scooters (you also can definitely walk too, it just takes a little longer)

Dated but comfortable
Excellent location just behind the European Commission, near all public transport. The hotel has seen its best days, it is comfortable but very dates. There was some unexplainable humming sound in my room which kept waking me up. Strangers’ hair found in the bathroom. The staff, however, couldn’t be more friendly. The breakfast is worth it.

The room was great and well equipped. It was a bit of a walk from the front desk to the elevator to the rooms involving some stairs. But the location was convenient for metro and buses and not too far from the centre.

Hotel is nice and in a convenient location for us. However we stayed 2 nights in a room at the front of the hotel and there were 2 separate noise problems: 1. On Saturday night the shouting/music from the Kitty OShea bar was really loud until after 4am (even with our window closed). 2. On Monday morning nearby construction work started at 7am (crashing/drilling/shouting/unloading etc). We reported this to the receptionist but unfortunately the only response was a Gallic shrug.

Located beside the Berlaymont building/ European Commission and near all other EU buildings, Tram and bus stations are a 3-4 min walk and will easily take you into the old city center (3-4 stops by tram) or anywhere else around. Great for a business trip in the area. Hotel has excellent conference facilities and a good gym. Our room appeared to have been modernized recently enough and was cleaned well both days we were there. Water bottle provided each day, mini-fridge, coffee machine, tea kettle, and suit press in room. Umbrella provided by staff if you forget it on a rainy day. Water and candies available at the welcome desk. Staff is very helpful and nice. When we were there, we heard various staff members speaking English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish to us and other costumers, which was helpful. Breakfast spread was impressive and opened between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m., but they appeared to stay open until 11 am for the late risers. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, there is a snack fridge with drinks, cold sandwiches, chips, etc. that you can charge to your room. Remember that you will have to pay a city tax in addition to your hotel costs on Expedia. For two nights, ours was only eight euros.

The front desk staff in not helpful in providing information about the are around the hotel. The air conditioning only works in 1/2 of the building. Guests should be advised of this when checking in. The hotel should consider replacing the carpets in the rooms with a more hygienic surface, such as vinyl tile.

Once a very good hotel now very badly run
No hot water on either day, so I could not have a shower on arrival or before departure. Loud noise from other guests during the night woke me at 2/3am. I was departing at 7am - as I entered the lift I saw that someone had thrown up in the lift. When I complained to the manger at the reception desk about no hot water and the filthy state of the lift, he just shrugged and said housekeeping would clean the lift later. Awful management. I stayed in this hotel many times before it changed brand and management, if this is an example of how NH approaches customer service, then I will not be back.

Airconditioning in room did little to nothing, Bed was rather uncomfortable. Bathroom was just generally grotty. Breakfast was very good however.

Modern, Comfortable, next to EU
Short trip to Brussels form Frankfurt, modern, nice hotel in center of EU district. East to get to by Train, Metro and airport bus. Hotel rooms are in good condition, with coffee maker, minifridge. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Bars and restaurants close by but not open on weekends due to big lunch crowed. Have stayed here in the past, certainly will again. Best rates when EU/EC is not in session.

Ok hotel with great location
Pros: large rooms with an ok view. Great location! Cons: the gym was closed. The toilet kept running, which was a bit annoying. The rooms look a bit old, but they're well maintained. The service was just ok, when compared my experience at other NH hotels.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and room maides were very good. No comunal areas to use, only the bfast restaurant. Wifi in the room was terible, bearly working. So I will say the hotel, is a very good 3 star hotel, and a very basic 4 star. Perfect location for people visiting the EU institutions.
