Property staff were super helpfull and friendly helping track down my lost suit case, and knew all the good spots to go, if i ever come back to brussells it will be this hotel, breakfast was great too

We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was phenomenal - one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had! The room was cool and the bed was comfortable. The location was SO central.

So far so good
In general, this hotel condition good and is very close the underground rail and convenience to travel other area in Brussels but no view from the hotel room. However, the parking bay only 7 available and unable provide me in the first day. Suggest arrive in hotel before 10:00 see if there is any visitor check-out or later than 20:00 as free parking outside of hotel.

The young man at reception was nice enough to let us check in several hours early, however he didn’t actually check us in!! So at 10 pm someone tried to get into our room, they had a key and was able to open our door (lucky we had the lock bar on). When we went down to reception to see why this happened we just were told that their computer said we never arrived. We didn’t get an apology or any other sort of compensation. I get it mistakes happen, but a sorry would have been nice. I also opted to pay for breakfast at the hotel as we had an early flight and were tired, again the young man on reception was kind enough to book this for us, and again, there’s a downside! Because of the language barrier I couldn’t quite understand what he said, and we were charged €42 for a simple breakfast. He handed us the receipt and that was all, we later found out he charged a fee on top of the normal breakfast, which was not reflected in the receipt given. We had already paid €50 for the room, and an additional €42 for an unknown fee/breakfast. My advice to anyone checking in is to know French or make sure you ask enough questions. We weren’t given any clarity and it made the stay quite uncomfortable and scary, but truly what made our stay the worst was not a single staff member talked to us about their mistakes or apologised.

Hotel is quite a bit far from the main plaza, you have to take the metro. Breakfast is $16 euros p/p which seems expensive compared to other places. I got free drinks per stay, however it's confusing as they said it based per stay. I had 3 different reservationsI and enjoyed different Belgium beers every night. Because of the blood stained in my sheets I will never stay in this place again, it reflects the lack of compromise with health standards.

Issues with on-site parking promised. First room claimed a double bed but was 2 singles pushed together (with a hair on them). They did allow us to change room so that was ok. Room was quite small and stuffy (window locks and poor air conditioning) but otherwise average comfort as you would expect.

I often travel to Brussels for work, but will not review a hotel unless I think it was particularly good, or represented good value - this is my first review of a hotel in Brussels. This hotel was cheaper than many others nearby. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bedroom was clean, warm and comfortable, with everything that I needed (ironing board, kettle etc). The dining room/bar was relaxing and unpretentious with good food - menu was brief and fairly priced. Very happy with this hotel and will definitely use it regularly from now on.

This hotel was modern and comfortable with the right amount of family friendly and trendy. Our room was very clean. The bathroom did have some mold in the shower, but otherwise everything looked and felt spotless. The staff were a bit overwhelmed but very nice. The breakfast is excellent and worth every penny!

I am delighted that you found our location great for your recent stay with us and that your family room exceeded your expectations as our guests' comfort is extremely important to us. As a city center hotel, we only have eight car parking spaces available and are unable to take bookings for these but their is paid parking available on the nearby streets. I do hope you will return to the Holiday Inn, Brussels again and please ask for me at reception so that I can meet with you and discuss your comments in person. Keep well. Horrible experience, one of the worst stays ever!!! Constructions in the hotel without pre-notifications. Were woken up very early in the morning and the cherry on the cake was construction work next to our table while eating breakfast! Couldn’t you have stopped construction at the dining hall at least during breakfast hours?!? Not even a partial compensation? Anything? Nothing! Another very bad experience with Holiday Inn and cannot see us ever staying at Holiday Inn ...or
