24hr room service was excellent. We did not like being asked to pay for the hotel booking upon checkout, when we had already prepaid this with Expedia

The grounds are beautiful . Staff helpful , breakfast very nice . The interior of the Hotel was disappointing, dated and really needs some TLC

I think its a nice setting but needs a bit of money spending to bring up.to.date.also no atmosphere in the bar

I liked that you look at the place and think wow its for upper class people but wen we went it was like every one the same no lah de dah people ...it was friendly and everyone the same ...staff were brilliant and could ave a laugh.. . Very helpful ..facilities are great too for an extra £10 a room .so much so boked again 2 weeks later

Stayed on a quiet Sunday night. Went to restaurant without a booking just before 8pm and there was no hassle ordering & the food & service were fab. Comfy large rooms and good value for money. Also extended check out until midday with no issues. All good!

Good hotel, however gym and pool not included!
The hotel in general was okay, the health club was good, however it was not included in the price of the stay and an additional cost of £10 was charged for the use of this on arrival, this would have been good to know

Beautiful hotel.
We arrived early evening, pulling up to this amazing castle all lit up with festive Christmas lights it certainly gave the wow factor very nice indeed. We did feel underdressed walking into the castle, a wedding reception was taking place, everyone looked posh and somewhat happy shall we say 😊 The hotel is slightly confusing to get around it was like a maze to get to your room even with the lift, but once you work the layout its fine. The room was amazing, exceptionally clean and tidy with everything you need it was lovely. The only downfall from the whole experience of our stay, was the shower it was running cold water which for any guest first thing in the morning is not good.

Not a castle
Front desk clerk was very rude. Horrible weather got here early due to not being able to do anything because of the weather. Asked about checking in early was told no. Which we get but was told where the pub was where we could get drunk if we wanted to. Finally got to check in, not a castle experience at all, bad strip motel, cold room, couldn’t go into the castle part at all…..don’t stay here. Rooms and halls smelled like the rotten spa that is located in the building.
