"We did enjoy our stay at the Jolly Sailor, the view was excellent and it was convenient for the Quay etc and only a short walk up to the high street for other Restaurants, although the food at the J.S was very good. The downside was the ensuite, which was very small and basic and the toilet seat was broken and the toilet seemed to be at an angle!! would i recommend?? yes I think so, just for the views, food and very pleasant staff😀"

"The property is very clean, comfortable and peaceful with all necessary facilities. The breakfast menu was excellent. The restaurant served good food from a slightly limited menu at very reasonable prices. We would certainly stay again if we are in the area. One small improvement could be made to the en-suite shower by fitting a grab handle and or a non slip mat."

"You're above a pub, but right in the city centre, for real cheap. It's highly convenient, clean bathrooms and bedding, but be warned, it's above a pub. Its a bit noisy until late, but that's expected. Can't complain really. We left some headphones and keys behind but they were very kind to ship them back for us! Would recommend if you're in for a couple of nights and just need a bed. Gud price"

"My partner and I absolutely loved The Crown House. I arrived first and got chatting to the young man who was checking us in, he was so lovely and helpful and gave me lots of information about the hotel, the village, the two pubs that served food and the area. He was very kind, in that when my partner arrived, we were able to buy drinks from the bar, once we’d settled in. The room was lovely and light.
