I regularly stay in Coppid Beech for work as the staff are always very welcoming from the front desk through to the restaurant staff and the cleaning team. The gym facilities are extremely dated but do the job they are there to do. I’ve not used the wet facilities when on site as it’s normally quite busy. The room was excellently presented and bed was comfortable. The amenities in the room were suitable for my needs. The iron for the room I used wasn’t brilliant but I could blame my technique as much as the apparatus itself.

Room was clean and modern and moderately well equipped. The restaurant is a little dated with a very limited menu but OK. Bar area was very noisy with lots of kids (it was weekend) with a loud disco coming from an adjacent room with a private party. It wasn’t a pleasant place to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was extremely busy with lots of families even at 0800.

Had a room with a balcony that overlooked a petrol station and didn’t have any seats outside - was not worth paying the extra for a balcony room. The double bed was two single mattresses which needed a thick double topper on top otherwise you couldn’t sleep in the middle without discomfort or falling down the crack - ok if you want a reason not to cuddle your other half or if you tend to sleep at the edge of the bed

Staff were nice and helpful. Clean place. Pool is a lot smaller than photos and there were swimming lessons going on and members in the pool at the weekend. Some guy had his phone pointed towards the pool where the kids were swimming, looked like he was texting but who knows. For kids safety this is very irresponsible of the hotel to allow this. Signs up stating no phones around the pool were not enforced. Food was terrible. Expensive. Bone dry children’s burger with bone dry bun. Breaded chicken with a handful of rocket, I could buy better at the local supermarket. I didn’t complain about food as I wanted to enjoy what little time I had with my kids. Breakfast wasn’t much better. Bathrooms were very nice looked like they’d just been redone. As I said staff were nice, clean place but I wouldn’t chose to stay here again.

The family rooms were brilliant for us and the two kids. Staff were great with a special mention of Sam on front desk who was fantastic and incredibly welcoming and friendly. Nice hotel and would stay again!!

Overall nice weekend. Good outweighed bad.
2 night stay with wife Fri-Sun. The good. Parking on-site was easy with plenty of spaces available. Reception area was beautiful and we were greeted with friendly staff and an easy, quick check-in. Clean and modern elevator to 4th and top floor. As elevator opened we were met with a lovely landing area decorated with a large, beautiful triangular fish tank and exotic fish. Room was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. Bathroom was clean, shower was powerful and hot. Bar area was decorated lovely, wide selection of beers, wines and spirits, served in the correct glasses which were also very clean. Priced as you would expect of a nice hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful and quick to serve our drinks. The Bad. Our room was on the top floor (4th). In the basement is a nightclub which begins at 7pm until 3am. I feel very sorry for anyone below the top floor as our room was literally vibrating. It is advertised on the hotels website, but i never imagined how loud it got. The AC in our room was locked off. Even with the window open, the few inches it allows, our room became very warm. The "spa" area was very dated, changing rooms were not clean and some lockers were broken. Very small area. Pool was ok, not very large. 1.0m shallow to 1.5m deep. Steam room wasn't very great and seating around pool was limited. As our reason for the weekend was a spa break, this was disappointing. Overall a nice weekend. Would return to Hotel, just not for spa.

Used for quick getaway, stayed sunday-wednesday and had one of the suites (212). Other people have mentioned how cold the rooms were - couldnt be further from the truth!!! Everywhere was clean, staff were very friendly, food was excellent, bar service was extra excellent (cant remember his name but the carribean chap). The gym was very good. The only downside was how the other guests treated the pool area - there were children and parents treating the place like the seaside with no consideration for others or the members, young children in the jaquzzi/sauna/steam. Spoke to a member of staff and they are powerless for fear of negative reviews. Would say though i didnt realise it was half term, and we adjusted our times for when the little darlings were out!!! I would fully recommend this hotel and will definetly stay again.

We stayed with 3 children whilst visiting legoland, hotel and staff were lovely. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Our room was a great size for the 5 of us and the beds were comfortable.

The unrefurbished rooms are very dated and old - a shame when you know there are nicer rooms in the hotel that really elevate your experinece. Noise seems to travel when you’re in the rooms, not at night but in the morning and afternoon if feels like you can hear every conversation going

Very poor sleep and a disappointing stay this time
Having stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions prior to this one. We have been generally happy in the past, but this stay was a disappointment. We stayed for three nights and had very poor sleep due to noise from other clients, having a dreadful row at 2:15 am. On the Sunday night we were woken to the sound of water pipes banging and rattling from 3 am so very poor sleep. Also had some housekeeping conditions where we had to go to the front desk to get the missing items as hotel had no staff to bring them up . Disappointing for a four star hotel. Disappointed that we were not contacted to apologise for the noise, even though it was not directly the hotels fault.

Fabulous hotel
We had an excellent stay here. All members of staff we came across gave exceptional service. We enjoyed using the pool facilities and bar area. My daughter especially liked the fish tanks on every floor.

Our favourite hotel
Second time we have stayed here as a family. Stayed in a family room with our three children. Huge room! Very clean. Used the pool area which was also clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The children love the fish tanks in the middle of each level. Beautifully decorated for Christmas Looking forward to our next stay!

Excellent stay. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Swimming pool was OK, possibly could do with some updating butg clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, though cooked food could have been hotter. Bar and entrance area very welcoming and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Good sized room. An improvement would be a small room fridge. Ensuite lovely. Spacious shower. Used hotel as base over Christmas to visit family living near.

Fab hotel, all staff so good with the kids, massive room for our family of 4 and the food was delicious! Little touches like colouring for the kids at dinner and a welcome pack for the children really make a difference, definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel is nice. However the room we had was a suite, which was fine. How ever the heating was not very good as they had put two electric heaters in the room and it needed them. The not good part was there was no hot water to basin and the basin did not drain away. The shower was scolding hot and the temperature control did not work at all. So a shave and a shower were just about impossible.
