Good and bad points, but I would stay again. The entrance to the hotel is unkempt and we weren’t sure if it was even open and hadn’t been closed down. Once you go around the corner to where the reception is, it’s better. There is plenty of parking. We were given a room on the second floor, there’s no lift, but we were offered help with our bags. The decor is tired and needs to be freshly decorated etc. The room itself was clean, toiletries were included, with windows that opened to let in fresh air was lovely (unlike chain hotels that tend to not open). There were tea and coffee making facilities. You could feel some of the springs in the mattress, but to be honest I slept like a log. We missed wherever it said they do breakfast, and didn’t see the bar etc until check out when people were sat in there. The staff at check in and check out were friendly, I left my phone charger in our room, and the man in reception went back up to fetch it for me which I was grateful for. I’d stay there again for the price we paid.
