It was a good compromise / good value if you look at price per night. Stays in Berlin are not cheap and the price here was ok. Hotel amenities were not perfect, but there is everything what you need. Minuses: no hot water in shower, only a bit warm; the hotel equipment is old, using an elevator there is a trip to the past ;) Pluses: price per night, not far away from the city center, good access to public transportation, friedly staff

Very poor experience overall - building was in poor condition to the point of not feeling like a safe or at all comfortable place to stay. There were exposed cables running across the walls in the bedroom, e.g. from the light switch up to the fittings. The glass in the lift was shattered. There was an unpleasant smell around the building and the cleanliness of the room was poor especially the bedding and the hard surfaces in the bathroom. Staff were fine but did not make up for the other issues. Booked for the area as was near to where family were staying, but absolutely would not book again.

Overall stay is satisfactory. The only issue is the bathroom. There is no curtain so water is everywhere in the bathroom after shower although it evaporates after an hour. And the ceiling of the bathroom is quite low. For me, I am 165cm so it is so far ok for me. However, it may be an issue for other travelers.

Old worn down hotel
The staff are nice, but the hotel is in poor condition. The doors and walls are wafer thin, you can hear every word said in the room next door. If you’re out sightseeing all day, and you’re only using it for sleep, it’ll do.

2nd nice staying at Europa

A bit dated but still nice and comfortable. A bit far from most attractions. Subway is 10 mins walk. Neighborhood is nice and safe.

Location of the hotel was great and I also liked the breakfast options. The room was clean but lacked in amenities. The bathroom heater didn’t work so it was cold. The sink was clogged and it drained very slowly. The bed was ok but not enough blankets or pillows.

Clearly an unpretentious budget hotel but with clean modern rooms, good tv and shower room. Excellent varied breakfast with pleasant hard-working staff to ensure that food was always available.

Lots of windows. Big room. Good shower water pressure. A fan in the room on a hot day - but unfortunately, it was broken, and no replacement was available. Good breakfast, although restaurant was crowded at breakfast time! Parking very difficult. Friendly staff.

Great place
The only thing I wished they did, is opened the widows before we go into the room :) because it was a hot day . It’s very basic I felt but everyone was clean and workers were friendly. The breakfast was great ! The workers were fast to service!

The only thing I don't like is that the hotel doesn't have their own private parking space. Had to leave my car two blocks away and pay for leaving it there

Great location if your aim is to explore Berlin. And it's especially easy to reach from Tegel airport (109 bus to Olivaer Platz). The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean.

The hotel has the perfect location in the Old San Juan. After traveling through many countries, many cities; I have bee n in the best, the good, the bad and the worse hotels. It hurts to be at a hotel that has so much potencial and minors things are not addressed to elevate the quality of the guest experience. I wish something is done about it. It would make feel much better as I am from Puerto Rico and would like to see the country progress to the maximum.

They take school kids and allowed noise and rampaging until 3am. The school kids were on the same floors as general public and no teachers bothered to supervise. Very disturbing.

The True!
The front desk guy that attend to me, was a little bit rude. The cleanness was deplorable, really a shame. The carpet was so old and dirty, basically gray and you get a stained feet, mostly turn blackish :(. Finally the bathroom, auch!!!!. So avoid and choose other as you can. Ah, by the way, the WiFi, stinks, you know.

I like the service they was really polite and they provide my son with breakfast at 5:00Am , I know bf is not starting until 7:00AM I didnt like the old smell of the room and the bathroom smell of surge. no parking options

great value for money
I needed a single room therefore I booked this hotel. it was perfect everything was good for this price. single room has a big balcony. it was the best part for me. breakfast was also not bad. I wasn’t expecting such a good hotel for this price. only problem was the elevator. they need to change it. it wasn’t functioning well.

I visited Berlin for 3 days for a sightseeing trip This hotel was ideal for me as a single room It has full onsuite and was a basic yet agreat base for the trip Main bus line at the top of the road, close to the underground and supermarket 5 mins away, Very cheap and was ideal for a lone traveller, Pics are as I left.
