Very likely the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The room had a horrible small. The bathtub was black. The hair dryer had a layer of dust. The door jamb was in such disrepair that you could see outside from inside the room. I have many photos but there are a few. Not recommended!

If we could put zero stars … we would… dump! No sleep, uncomfortable, couldn’t pay me to use this shower, loud, sketchy neighbors, no heat, unsafe door with broken locks, Sleep in your clothes, we had to for warmth.Stay away! Looks like place had entirely flooded & now moldy bottoms of everything, minus a cheap newer floor!

I needed a place to rest a few hours to catch up a flight from DTW. I was expecting a small room without any service or toiletries, but at least have clean sheet and towels. The room is stink!!! There is a huge yellow spot on the sheet, the pillow is smoking smell. That was terrifying.

I liked that there was a microwave and fridge in the room however they were not clean. The fridge had mold in it. We found quite a few dead bug’s laying around in the room as well.

Good, not luxurious
This was a one night stay to attend a family event nearby. The hotel was adequate for our needs because we were not spending a lot of time there. It was a good place to shower and sleep. The service staff at the desk was excellent. There was a little confusion on the reservation so she gave us the walk in rate which was lower. Very much appreciated that. The place is old and could use some updating, but based on the price, it served our purposes just fine. It was a little dusty, but the sheets were clean.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower, then this might be the place for you. If you want a clean room in decent shape with other amenities, then go elsewhere. The plaster was coming off the walls, the flooring in the bathroom was peeling due to all the water that gets on the floor, the wi-fi is nonexistent, and the room is nowhere near the level of clean I believe a hotel should be at. It is close to I-94 and other shopping centers and restaurants though; and it has direct access from the parking lot into your room.

I dont understand how this place is open.. my room had the latch clearly broken, carpet and floors dirty, walls dirty, broken fridge, broken microwave, throw pillows as pillows. Don’t do it, pay the extra 50 for another hotel
This place was disgusting. The carpeted areas were absolutely soiled. I don’t know why they weren’t replaced or just thrown away. Stains everywhere. A bunch of flies. It’s cheap for a reason. I would’ve felt more comfortable pitching a tent outside to be honest.

Gone Downhill since not Red Roof
Our first room was strong smoke and mould smell. Dirty walls and floors, holes in the walls by beds. They gave us another room. This was somewhat cleaner, but the beds wore horrible! I have stayed here 6 times in the past years while it was a Red Roof Inn, basic but always WAS spotless. Now its not.

Nice people, but OLD and BROKEN rooms
The staff at Red Oan Inn greeted us warmly and we had no issues with the service. However, the room was very damaged and not clean. Holes in the wall, exposed wires, lose flooring, broken drawers, and falling wall light fixtures. When we notified the staff about this, they simply stated that they were trying to improve the rooms and most of the rooms had some kind of damage.
