Very quick and decent check-in service. Concierge manager Harry is vey nice and kind person to help us organize all stuff like delivery, luggage storage and calling taxi. We highly recommend staying at Hilton Beijing.

In general a smooth staying experience. Hotel staff were friendly. But during our stay the lobby had so much going on, making us sincerely worried about our safety, including someone drunk was yelling and beat someone and throw a chair in the hotel lobby; an extremely large lantern in the hotel dropped from the very top of the ceiling to the lobby, the loud sound shocked a lot of guests, then a lot of the executive people came down and surrounded the center of the lobby like an investigation scene. I was also surprised that the hotel decoration /carpet was charged during the day instead of the night time. I believe day time in the hotel lobby is the busiest. It is not very professional for guests to see a lot of staff lining up and put the decoration carpet down. The facility is also quite old, I felt it was not worth the money in Beijing. The carpet on each floor in the older executive building has water stain. But We were happy with the balcony after the upgrade. Nice scenery. I hope the hotel risk management team and the administrative management team can work towards a better solution to protect the Hilton image and hotel guests safety.

1. Check in and out We arrived Beijing quite late. We checked in at midnight. The counter staff wasn’t prepared for our arrival. They gave us a room at level 5 with one bottle of water. As we start to settle down, reception called and say our floor would be renovating and they will move us to a renovated floor. So we had to pack our bags again. So, they only knew the renovation work will at 1am? How professional. And they keep saying we will get an upgrade. We say we want to speak to the manager. I stayed for 3 nights. There was no apology at all. I didn’t even get to meet the manager. Frankly speaking, the new room they gave us was a upgrade - 2 bottles of waters and 2 hangers. The pillows were quite soft so I asked for two more pillows the next day. Housekeeping had no idea what or why I was asking for pillows. 2. Wifi I had to reset the password 3 times. I don’t know what went wrong. 3. Package I bought some stuff from Taobao. Some of my goods got rejected and sent back to seller. Some was not recorded. Only one of my pancake was recorded. Jason wasn’t very happy about it. Overall, I was expecting basic service from Hilton but it wasn’t within my expectation. And it wasn’t cheap.

It is a good hotel with decent rooms and friendly staff. The building itself is not new compared to the Westin across the street. But this Hilton is more affordable. So it is a good value. Overall I was very happy with my stay here.

Old carpets make room smell bad.
Came for an event, the event meeting rooms and facility were fine, but the bedroom carpet smelled. Rooms are very old, and a mildewy mold smell permeated the room. Would not stay here again. Nothing surrounding the area, only plus is close tot he highway so not too long to get to the airport.

I checked in around midnight- it’s an old Hilton w old equipment/devices; the AC is not working properly and the shower head is broken. I only stay for one night and I have important appointment the next morning so I didn’t try to switch room. overall, friendly and helpful staff but poor conditions- they mentioned they are under renovation, hopefully it gonna be better.

They give us a room that doesn't worth the price I paid. I know this because it's so cold even though I tune the heater to the highest. I requested a change of room upon the last night and the room is quite different, the amenities and facilities are much better and they told me it's the same type of room as the one I stayed for the first 2 nights. I can't bear this apparent lie!

The main tower is very dated and is under renovation. I was informed that the renovations would begin at 9, but in actuality they began at more like 7am. Management moved me to a room in the Club/Concierge building, which was already renovated. This room was significantly better, but still suffered from a lock system that was very difficult to use, a bath that did not work, and televisions that had poor signal or no signal. Management resolved the issue with a discount. The pool is very nice at night, and the gym is well-appointed.

Very good solid business hotel.
It is nice to have a place that lives up to the perception. It is not a luxury hotel. But a solid business hotel-clean good fixtures, place to hang your suit, very good gym, etc. Will stay again

bathroom floor drain smells very strong, I poured water in the drain every few hours. Toilet does not flash well. Amenities are old. Dinner only have buffet or Tai food.

A nice hotel - such a welcomed relief in China!
Nice hotel, rather expensive. I paid the slight extra for breakfast included, together with high speed WiFi and lounge access - rocked my money in the happy hour (2 hours) each evening with copious wine and food, free of course!

Hilton begins refurbishment
Not quite what I anticipated for a Hilton hotel. Room cleanliness and size was good as was the comfortable bed. Staff very friendly, helpful and able to communicate well in English. Hotel tired and refurbishment has just begun. Location not too far from bus/subway but a little away from restaurant/shopping district of Sunlitun. Cost of public transport very cheap.

A good business hotel
Excellent service and convenient (especially to the embassy district). Staff is very helpful. Breakfast was okay. The main building is well maintained but is showing its age at times. Good hotel over all.

The Garzas at Beijing Hilton
This hotel has a very sophisticated air. Our check-in was great. We were allowed to check in early which was nice because we arrive about 3 hours before our normal check-in time. The concierge as well as the rest of the staff were all very helpful throughout our stay. The subway was only about a block away. I would have liked to stay longer.
