Absolutely wonderful
Absolutely wonderful so pleased I found The Old Piggery, with only 8 rooms it was quaint and personal, very comfy bed, so convenient parking right outside. Great Breakfast, would 100% stay there again!

Rachel was an excellent host , very attentive and nothing was to much trouble,the breakfast was excellent, the room was very clean and tidy and definitely would revisit.

I’d recommend staying here
Really nice room. Everything clean and nicely presented. Rachel was so helpful with everything. Breakfast lovely too. The accommodation is set in beautiful countryside.

Would highly recommend
Given the National Covid situation, my stay was great. Great friendly service and the rooms spotless. I don’t usually have a cooked breakfast when traveling on business, but would recommend you try one at the Piggery, nothing is too much trouble and tastes really good. Compared with a resent stay in London, there was no comparison, well done the Old Piggery. I will be back...

1 night stay.
I was sent emails and texts from the very friendly and welcoming staff, there was a road closure so they helped in every way possible to get me there easily and stress free. Easy to park, very quiet and had a good night sleep. Breakfast was made to order and again the staff were brilliant. Couldn’t fault anything, much nicer and very good value for money.

Excellent stay
Really lovely! The room was great, comfortable, clean and stylish. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Hosts were fabulous, nothing was too much. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Worth going for break
As came on train in and was for work meant a taxi each day. Good welcome would have liked proper desk and chair . Good value and breakfast impressive

Excellent retreat
Location remote however the Piggery made up for it in an abundance. Rooms lovely & welcoming. Home comforts on hand. Breakfast was very good too.

Good stay over , location is down a private road a few minutes from the A6, i was in room 2 so this does have noise from the lounge / dining / entrance area in the evening and from 615/630am as it backs onto the kitchen

The owners were very friendly and on arrival we were offered a cup of tea, most welcoming. The location was ideal, quite and in the middle of the countryside.

This is a gem of a place.
I travel to the area a lot on business and finding somewhere like this is a real find. The owners and staff are lovely and really make you feel welcome and relaxed. There is a car charge point which is of great benefit and the rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and have great views across the countryside. In the morning the breakfast was just lovely with quite some choice. This is a gem of a place and I left feeling happy that I know I can return here and be well looked after again. In fact I am looking forward to it.

An excellent stay, all be it short. The owner was very helpful and friendly and the room and facilities were very comfortable and quiet. A nice 'homely' feeling. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

Nice, good for couples or friends.
My stay was ok, but as a loan traveller I was personally a little uncomfortable with the isolation. As there is no staff on site, just guests, I personally felt a little venerable. The facilities on site are good, in that guests are welcome to use plates and cutlery etc. microwave so you can prepare some supper on site.

Great Yurt
Have to say our stay at the Old Piggery was fantastic. We were split amongst the main building and a Yurt. The Yurt is a great experience and totally unique, it's extremely spacious and clean and makes previous business trips in boring hotel rooms well to shame. The welcome was fantastic and the communication beforehand to check we were OK and knew where we were going was a very nice touch. In the mornings the full English breakfast tasted brilliant and the other options available for breakfast left our party very happy.

Just a stopover
Rachel who made us feel very welcomed was charming and couldn’t do enough for us over our one night stay. Would definitely stay again if the need arised. The location of being on the farm was lovely with vast space all around with lovely scenery. The rest area was comfortable with deep seated sofas and chairs and bedroom was very clean and a nice mix of character and modern appliances to use. Our bed was very comfy and had a good nights sleep too. Recommended and one to keep.

First choice for my stays in Bedford!
A great stay at the Old Piggery started with a great directions and a courtesy phone call to ensure everything was ok. Lovely room, clean tidy, smart and comfortable. Nothing was too much hassle like an early breakfast and use of juices etc.

Overnight stay with friends after a say out.
This was a wonderful little find. Out if the way, quiet, clean and lovely And comfortable. Breakfast was great and had a nice comfortable laid back feel to it. Everything about the stay was stress free and we will definitely go back.
