The hotel was ok. We originally booked a 2 bed room and with 20 minutes left in our 10 hour car ride we’re called and told that our reservation was cancelled. This is after the hotel called to confirm 4times and we always said we were coming, just late. Check in was at 4 and we arrived at 11 or so due to traffic.
The pool was under construction and had I known that I would have booked elsewhere, they sent a text message stating that the renovations were happening after the moment the booking was locked in at the 24 hour window. Then there was breakfast. They advertised a free breakfast with the stay and that was also not true. We received meal vouchers for 3days and had to use them all at once because they were only good for one person and we had 6, then had to pay on top of it. The one waitress they had working there was very rude and when we asked to switch from the obviously spoiled chocolate milk to juice she rolled her eyes and said well the date was fine.
There was nothing for children on the menus and no way to order in smaller portions, according to the waitress. The rooms were also not very clea, there was black hairs all over our room and the pull out couch had a lot of stains on it. The rest of the hotel staff was very friendly.
Charles the night shift front desk man was seriously the BEST!!! He made us feel like we were welcomed and not like a burden like the rest of the staff we came into contact wit.
