"Our experience of the West Drift Manhattan Beach Hotel was excellent. Very friendly staff and a great location. Although we didn’t use the golf course, the views were exceptional. The hotel is situated near lots of good food and shopping areas. Also conveniently located near to the airport. A few negative points were the parking. The price difference between self parking and valet were not too much, although both expensive. The valet car park is very close to the hotel and walking to the car would be quicker than waiting for the valet, which made it seem pointless. Also the staff maybe very friendly but can be slow. We waited a while for the staff to bring our bags down and after sometime decided to bring these ourselves. The bathroom is decent, but the tub and shower could be much better. The bathrooms were clogged on our 2nd day and took a long time to drain. Overall a very clean and comfortable stay. I would definitely come back here in the future. "
