"Pros: really lovely looking hotel, great location to get around the city, comfortable mattress.
Cons: Not the warmest reception from staff aside from the last day when we met two really friendly ladies. We were in a garden room which was nice enough inside, however, the glass wall/window were so exposing that you had to have the curtain pulled across the entire time. That became quite annoying when leaving and entering as it would get caught in the door. The front door itself was very heavy and not the easiest to open. The garden rooms have a mini courtyard bit so whenever anyone walked through with a case the noise would really carry and would wake us up each morning. Because the whole wall was glass as it rained it was really loud and again woke us up. One evening we attempted to get a drink at the adjoining bar, when I approached the bar I was asked to find a table and someone would take a drinks order. After 15 minutes of waiting we gave up and went elsewhere.
All in all a perfectly fine hotel but absolutely not worth the £200+ a night fee."
