As of Feb. 2024, the hotel is under renovation, so some rooms have likely been upgraded. My room was clearly older, but mostly functional. The big problem was that there was only one power outlet, and it was nowhere near the desk. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice, and the breakfast room was pleasant. Close to Sagrada Familia and a metro stop.

Long weekend stay at Hotel Glòries
Great long weekend stay in a good location. Not in the most fantastic place for sightseeing, but not too far from La Sagrada Familia, also close to Westfield Glòries shopping area and the bustling Mercat des Encants de Barcelona market. Reception staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room size was small, but comfortable. Only the bathroom showing some signs of aging. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked a single room and stayed 4 days end of August. I was pretty happy with the hotel and the location. Staff were friendly and helpful. I think one night I might have thought people were being noisy and more noiseproofing was need but otherwise I was pretty much able to sleep well. The room would grow hot because whoever cleaned it would open the curtains and the sun shone directly into it. The air-conditioning is old and took time to kick in when I would come back and switch it on. The Sagrada Familia is nearby and so are the metro lines. Come out of the hotel, make a right and then a quick right on the main road to the bus stop - To go downtown, to Casa Mila, etc. About half an hour away in the bus. Walking north from Sagrada Familia, there is a street of restaurants with patios. There is a convenience store nearby and a couple of laundromats as well. Note - The hotel is not allowed to have irons.

Hotel Glories was great! Super close to the sagrada familia and fairly close to the center and other attractions. The hotel was spacious, clean, and the staff was super friendly! Would definitely stay again

The location is good and close to the subway and many restaurants. However, the rooms are crammed and the AC was not working, so the room was boiling all night. The windows look directly into another person´s window. No privacy.

Hello, Thank you for your comments and we are sorry about AC but I would like to clarify that the AC was turn off ( NO, not working, as said the guest)because the temperature in Barcelona night is 10-15 ºC and a lot of people ask us to change to heating. the hotel have AC and heating centralized. It is not possible one room with AC and another room with heating. We hope you could give us another chance and we hope to see you back Yours faithfully

Best trip of my life
Overall my trip to Barcelona was amazing. I used my hotel on minimum level to sleep, take shower and leave again for this amazing city of Barcelona. I had absolutely no problem with the hotel everything was as expected, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Super kind staff, they had very good advice for me also. They accidentally took my white towel from my room (i admit i wont use white towel in hotels anymore) they were kind to look for my towel and give it back to me. Definitely would go back and stay there for me it was great value for the money.

Wonderful experience for a first timer,any places to see not enough time, public transportation very easy to move no need a car, gastronomy, sightseeing, bars, everything was beautiful.

The property is ok, it’s all about the location. It is located close by to major touristic attractions. It’s a small three stars boutique hotel which is convenient for visitors. Breakfast wasn’t bad and I was enjoying that. But please beware of housekeeping staff. On my last day someone stole my iPhone from my suitcase, it was my second phone and it was in a iPhone box. My luggage was already packed but I left it open flat for the last minute things to throw in and close it. I came to my other European destination and realized that my phone is gone. It was really weird because one of the fabric handles of the double zipper was broken. It was a brand new suitcase that I purchased for this trip, and last time I saw it it was fine. Anyway, everything went well in that hotel until this last incident and it ruined everything. I will not recommend that hotel for staying. They steal and rob their guests. Thank god i put my valuables ( expensive watches, jewelry, money and passport) in the safe. Though I don’t trust that safe either.

First impression- reception are not very hospitable and helpful. The room is very small, crowded. No room for luggages at all. When we checked in the room door was ajar and and very very scented (strong perfume of some sort) and it was hard to breathe. They couldn’t give us another room. When we checked out the receptionist was very rude to us. We asked if we could call a number for our taxi that we booked and she was not willing to call, she told us that everybody is always asking questions..... Well, that’s her job to answer questions and help our guests. We were told that they have their own taxi that they deal with but we were the day before that they can’t guarantee the taxi to come on time so we did our own deal with a taxi on our own. I think management should train their staff to be always cordial, hospitable and friendly to guests. Terrible experience. Never stay again in this hotel.

Whilst the breakfast was quite good and the staff all very friendly and helpful, my main problem with this hotel is the noise. Walls in rooms seemed very thin so that at times i could hear people talking in other rooms -at normal conversational level it seemed- and also people walking on the laminated wood fllors. This coupled with noise from traffic on the nearby Gran Via Catalanes even with the window shut. As someone who likes to have my window open, this proved impossible long-term due to the sheer traffic noise. I did try having the a/c on (against my better judgement as in March it certainly wasn't hot) but this was fairly noisy as well.
