“excellent xxx”

Could not fault this hotel, room or staff . The maids cleaned our room every day and kepy it immaculate also the staff at the front desk were all lovely we went down one morning and asked how we could purchase tickets to camp nou and the man at the desk actually gave us 2 of his own tickets. And as for every one who has had something to say about the noise not once were we woken or did we hear any thing from people passing. For the price of the holiday I though the hotel was excellent and we are looking in to booking again this summer x

“Perfect little hotel for a weekend break”

We stayed for 4 nights and thought this hotel to be just perfect. The location is ideal within the old town and is only 2 mins from La Ramblas and there are about 30 bars/cafes/restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bearing this in mind the noise at night may be too much for light sleepers but those wanting a quiet time wouldn't be looking in this area anyway. Everyday our room was freshened up and was spotlessly clean. The refurb a couple of years ago means that every part of the room was still in very good order. The only slight negative was the fact they provide blankets rather than a duvet. The large sized safe in the room was an added bonus meaning a netbook/tablet can be safely locked away. Staff were attentive and the connected bar/tapas restaurant was a great place for a nightcap.

“great for younger people”

The location was great for sightseeing, just a few hundred yards of La Ramblas but this had its down points. It was very noisy at night and I found it difficult to sleep as it continued to 4 am. There were also a lot of 'gypsy' types trying to sell us cans of beer each evening when we returned. The hotel was clean and the room had a very nice bathroom with good shower and all the staff were helpful although I did find it odd that when we had used the showerrr gel etc they are not replaced. A perfect hotel for younger people who are going to enjoy the nightlife but maybe not so for anyone older.
