Ok stay, could be better
Pictures on hotels.com are confusing. We took the standard apartment because from the pictures it showed it had a large balcony but upon checking in it was not for this apartment but for the executive apartment. Other than that the condition of the apartment was not great, the bathroom door got stuck with someone inside it and had to wait 30 min for maintenance to open it.

Good location, spacious living area.
Great location in Eixample neighbourhood. 5min walk from Aerobus drop off. In our apartment which slept 4, the second bedroom is very tight, literally two beds pushed together and no space around 3 sides. For budget accommodation for 4 people it's good. Be aware the reception to check in is a different location, but only a few minutes walk away.

The apartment was fine the service to check in is poor I told the people wot time my flight came in made it very hard for to get my keys for apartment end up getting taxi to apartment to be Iv gt to go collect them from somewhere else they should stayed that when I replied through the messages section plus to get deposit back I had to call 6 times poor service

Great little apartment, located centrally. Easy to reach the metro, La Rambla, Plaza de Catalanya, restaurants, bars etc. We picked up the keys from around the corner and the lady there told us everything we needed to know about the apartment and also places of interest, she gave us maps too. Would highly recommend :)

Well located apartment
Location is the best part of this apartment. The negatives are the noise level from the neighboring apartments and the comfort of the bed. Overall, it’s nice enough but it’s time for a few updates and repairs.

Perfect modern apatment well equiped.
The building was looking old from outside, but the apartment was very modern and everything was in perfect order. The recepton was 5 minutes walk from the apartment and provided great service. I am sure that when I visit Barcelona next time, I will book Wello apartment.

Location was close to all major attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. It was inconvenient to check in 4 blocks away and having to haul the luggage walking the distance. Requested an early check in and was denied. It was a 9 hour flight and we were very tired. Had to leave luggage at the office and return 3 hours later. Not nice.

The apartment is nice, only few things is nt in a good condition. 1) water temperature: we have to wait for sometime for the second and thrid person for shower as the hot water is not enough 2) water pressure is low for the toilet bowl 3) there are washing machine but no detergent provided, but we bought it in a cheap price at the convenient shop

It was perfection and the staff was helpful and amanzing.. the location was extremely convenient all meeting points for tours or excursion where super close. A lot of food options near by. Having access to a washer & dryer was everything.. I would stay here again if God permita. Did I mention the office staff was amazing as well. I give Wello Apartments 10 stars and the staff 20..

Nice apartment on a quiet neighborhood
Apartment itself is good. I would not call it luxury, but it was clean with comfortable beds, small kitchen with everything to cook and eat. The building is in quiet area, but close to everything, so you can party nearby if you want to, but can sleep undisturbed. Check in is in another building a couple blocks away, which was not mentioned on hotels.com confirmation. Great that I checked with the apartment. 3 stars for service and amenities. They gave us a small starter pack with only 1 dishwasher tablet, no detergent and one trash bag. Everywhere else we got enough of these basic necessities for the entire stay. Internet didn't work for our entire stay. Management was telling us it'll be fixed soon, but no help was offered other than an option to come to building where checkin was and use it there. Could have offered a local prepaid sim or portable hotspot.

Wonderful place to stay in Barcelona
I've stayed at this property for four nights in my first stay of Barcelona. The place is clean and spacious. It is in walking distance to most of the tourist attractions and near many of good restaurants in the city. The only problem was the plumbing in the shower. The water did not go down well while the shower was being used. Other that that, I would definitely stay here agin on my next visit to Barcelona.

Great hotel for families
The apartments are part of the traditional Barcelona block, which give a great glimpse into local life. The apartment was recently renovated, clean and nicely furnished. The two bedroom flat that we got was the perfect size for 3 adults and an infant. Fully furnished kitchen and washing machine makes the stay very comfortable. We had a large balcony with a nice view into the city block. As nice farewell touch we were given a box of chocolates upon check out. The only inconvenience was the fact we had to give a deposit in cash, in Euro, so we had to exchange money the day after check-in as we didn't have enough during check-in. Receiving the deposit back before leaving Europe might be inconvenient further as you probably don't want Euros at the end of the trip.

Very good: Clean and quiet, in a good location!
Overall, this is a very good place. The apartment was clean and quiet, and in a very convenient location: just a 5 minute walk to the Universitat metro station (Sagradia Familia and Train Station are on the same Metro line), 10 minutes to Las Rambles, and 15 minutes to Barri Gotic. This is a residential neighborhood, so there was no late-night partying outside. The two-person apartment is smaller and narrower than what's shown in the photos online here, but still fine for two people. The kitchen is a real kitchen -- great stove top, fridge, and even range hood. A few small issues: there's only 1 sauce pot (~1L), and someone ruined it on a hot burner, the bottom is rounded like a grapefruit, so it's no longer useable. You need to pull out the 5L stock pot if you want to simply heat water for some tea. Likewise, someone broke the end off the corkscrew, so no longer useable. How can you be in Spain and not have a corkscrew? Alas, there are no good supermarkets nearby, the best option was Carrefour down on Las Rambles. Otherwise, this is really a very good place.

Very convenient to best sights in Eixample!
Did not know a 150 euro cash deposit was required, but we got it back before the last night. Cesar was great about meeting us to get/leave key and deposit. We had to leave early and it worked out OK. Did not use the apartment for the kitchen like we'd planned originally. The hot water tank is small, so I had to watch the time in the shower.

Good location and nice building
I was wary of staying here because my credit card info was stolen and used as soon as I paid for our stay. (This card was new and never used elsewhere, so I know it happened during this transaction.) The person who greeted us had printed paperwork that had my credit card info completely displayed (and who knows how many people saw this paperwork), so with Barcelona's reputation and it being my first time there, I was cautious about this. I did not provide any other credit card payment sources and reluctantly provided a cash deposit of 150 Euro, which I got back on checkout. It didn't really register that we were staying near a Gaudi masterpiece (Casa Batllo) until I was out walking one night and ran across it. The neighborhood was really cute, full of good shops and restaurants, and most people spoke some English so we had an easy time. The apartment was pretty clean (not immaculate), the beds were fairly comfortable, and I only wish there had been a second bathroom for our group--it seemed like someone was in the bathroom anytime another person needed it. The balcony was nice, although I was bothered that we discovered it was unlocked the first night (the first time any of us checked was before we all went to sleep).

Perfect weekend in a perfect location
Couldn't fault it. Perfect location to explore this wonderful city. Apartment was spacious, clean, had everything you need. Cesar, as promised, met us promptly. He was a pleasure to deal with. Felt safe even of a night time walking around the neighbourhood. Lots of good restaurants and bars in short walking distance. Close to metro.

Great location!
Excellently located and aesthetically furnished, Wello Apartments (Casa Batlló Eixample) are a great choice for anyone. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. But what really stole the show for us was that living in the apartment provided us the experience of living as a local. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend these apartments.

A splendid stay rather unexpected
Very cozy environment particularly suitable for family stay. My family stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every one of them. Location is convenient and close to metro station with Casa Mila, Casa Battlo and several popular restaurants within walking distance. The condition of the apartment is good and clean. Apartment staff very friendly and helpful. Sure would recommend others to book this value for money apartment.

Decent stay within reasonable range to a good are
Hello, I was traveling 3 major cities in Europe with young kids for the first time and Barcelona was the last city before we start packing for home. I rented Casa Batlló based on pictures and comments from other users and I believe it was a fairly decent choice. We mostly used the apt as a base and for sleeping and were out and about majority of the time. There are few things to think about when renting an apt v.s. staying at a hotel: - We had to call in to receive our keys and unfortunately we didn't have a local phone. This turned out to be a major challenge since I had to walk around and ask many people to use their phone before someone agreed to let me. When I did manage to get in touch with them, the guy showed up relatively quick. - We had to pay few extra euros for some taxes that I was not aware of. Although it wasn't much, I was under the impression that everything was paid. - When I booked the place, I was under the impression that check out was 11 (expedia) but the follow up email from management company and cesar (building manager) showed up at 10 and sounded a bit in a rush to get us out. He had originally told us that he would give us a little extra time if there were no new reservations but it didn't go through that way. Besides these things, place was decent and Cesar was very efficient. He showed up when he said he would and held our bags within the building for the last day since our flight was late. I would recommend this for adults, groups.

About a month ago, we stayed around a week at Casa Batlló Eixample during a family (2 adults. 3 kids) vacation .Our apartment was lovely, facing a back yard, and for that reason totally peaceful and quiet, considering the street noise (I should say avenue...) in front of the hotel. Supermarkets, Bakery, Pharmacies, Cafes etc. are just steps away from the apartment or just around the corner. The hotel is in a superb location, in terms of public transportation (Metro, Buses) , main attractions such as Placa De Catalunya, Passeig De Gracia and so forth. Another clear sign (as parents) to the quality of the apartment in total , was the fact that the kids loved it (and kept mentioning that) , and in times of fatigue or stress demanded to go back to the apartment to rest and relax. I would also like to mention our deepest gratitude to Marta who handled the communication prior to our arrival and Cesar, who handled the Check-In process and made himself available to any requests or questions we might have. In sum, we highly recommend Casa Batlló Eixample, and should we return to Barcelona, that specific hotel and staff will surely be among our options list.

This apartment is located in a convenient location with 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city. Nice restaurants and supermarkets are little far away, but can easily manage. It appears to be very safe place. Very helpful host. Look for 'serrenia apartments' - that is the actual name of the apartment.
