The apartment was a good size for the two of us but would be cramped if another person was using the sofa bed. Exceptionally clean and serviced each day. All staff were friendly especially Jasmine the receptionist. Our apartment was at the back so a bit dark but cool. The pool was more of a plunge pool but great to cool off on the roof terrace. Very central, metro few yards up from the apartment, great cafes and an Aldi just up the road. We walked to all the major sights as directed by Jasmin who provided a street map and circled all the main attractions. Great service, really helpful and welcoming staff team. The only downside was the roof terrace didn’t open till 10.30, would have been nice to go up early morning for a dip in the pool to start the day

Ok. Let's make this clear. I didn't stay at the Acacia Suites. Due to Covid-19 it was closed. I was transferred to another hotel in the same group, Ako Suites. I arrived very late at the hotel but it does have a 24 hour front desk, very helpful. I thought that it was going downhill after this. The system was down and he actually had to go to a room to ensure it was ready. No the best. Then when i get to the room, there is the unmistakable smell of smoking in the room. I couldn't go back down to reception, i was too tired. I have come across this with Spanish hotel rooms before. Windows open. By morning it was loads better. The room was spacious. Nice little kitchen area with a microwave and a hob. A kettle would have been nice but i made do. Bed was ok. Could've been a bit softer but it did. Bathroom with over bath shower was ok but it would have been better with a mixer tap, just for convenience. I thought i was the only person in the place. There was no restaurant because of restrictions in the city. I visited the supermarket for food next day. Aldi is basically beside the hotel. Housekeeping came in everyday and were wonderful. You can't really judge hotels at the moment but this one was fine. I'd stay here again with no complaint.

Perfect place to relax
Acacia Aparthotel is the best place we felt ourself home, starting from the reception staff, they were very friendly and helpful, the room is very well organised and clean. The hotel doesn’t have room service but they offer their help to provide any market staff, the housekeeping is very fast . Hotel location is pretty good ... beside the metro and lots of 24h supermarket and restaurants are around!!! I like this place and recommend it to couples who wish to enjoy calm and peace. Thank you Acacia to lake our stay enjoyable😊🌈

EXCELLENT Location! Located in a very clean and quiet area of the city. Close to many great shops and restaurants. Walking distance to city bus tour, and marketplaces. Staff was outstanding and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean. Beds were comfortable and our room was wonderful. Loved the rooftop pool and lounge area. Nice views from the rooftop. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were v nice so is the location . The only thing which annoyed us was the noise of the cleaners outside the room and the flushed of the toilets of the other rooms. No sound protector

Very nice room. Protective shower door glass is tiny and always got floor wet no matter how careful I was. Everything else was great especially bed!

Great location.
Great clean hotel in the centre of all the attractions. Close to the metro station. Ample breakfast brought to your room every day. Will definitely be there again, throughly recommend.

Great location, very close to metro and 20min walk to Le Rambles. Only 20min taxi journey from airport (train can be used instead). Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, helping with any queries such as how to get to where we were going. Apartment was very nice, clean and spacious and furnished to a good standard. They let us store our luggage as we arrived early. No problems with the Wi-fi. Negatives - they wanted to store my details in order to collect the compulsory tourist tax at the end of our visit. We would have preferred to just pay it up front, there was no need to hold my card details, this option should have been offered. On the other side of our bathroom window was a cleaners store room and although the glass was frosted/obscured, it was still possible to clearly see through it. Cable TV had no English speaking channels.

This Apartment hotel is at a good location near the metro station "Hospital Clinic" which was very nice. What I didn't like was that the room was very hot when we checked in. There was no air conditioning (One of the staff also said they don't have). But on Expedia in the section "room amenities", there is air conditioning and In-room climate control stated. Only in-room climate control was available, which didn't help. The only solution was to open the window for fresh air and a colder room. A very annoying thing was the toilet sounds coming from other guest rooms. When they flushed the toilet, you can hear the loud water noise through the pipes. A note to the hotel: Please check the bed sheet thoroughly next time. We saw some molds there. Or something similar that looks like mold (Black dots on the sheet). But the rest of the room was clean. Also, the hotel staff knew I paid via Expedia when I checked in. But he charged me twice for the stay. Fortunately, they refunded the money fast when I saw that a few days later and called the hotel. TIP: you don't need to give them your creditcard when asked. It is not necessary. The fee per day per person can be paid by cash.

Pros: clean, spacious, affordable Cons: décor is dated, toilet flushing is loud, neighbors toilet flushing is loud The location is not bad, but not very central to all attractions either. Most places were at within decent walking distance.

Late to give us check in - the cooking rings did not work so could not make tea or coffee. Have now stayed in better accomodation. Our room had constant water noise as well. room 103.

The hotel in general is very pleasant. It's actually an apartment converted to a hotel room. The room is huge and very clean. It has kitchen, a living room with a sofa and a bedroom. The problem is that the walls are not very well insulated. We could hear the flush of toilet from upstairs. I would recommend it.

We were very happy with our stay a Acacia Suites. The suite was basic but very comfortable, and the stovetop and kitchen items were very helpful. We only stayed one night and would have returned later in our trip when we returned to Barcelona, but they were sold out by the time we tried to reserve. The location is also exceptionally convenient for access to the Metro. The only possible negative was that the bedroom and living room wall did not go all the way to the ceiling, so that light and sound from the living room area could drift into the bedroom, but it was not a problem for us.

Terrific time I Barcelona. Gustavo was great!
The hotel is located on a busy steeet. That said, it was very quiet. Gustavo had the living room window unlocked so we could get air easily in the room. The bed was great, but we would have liked a king size mattress. Only thing that needed improvement was the shower head attached to the wall. If you get room 602 and it's still in disrepair complain. Otherwise clean, safe, and comfortable. Housekeeping was very good.

Lovely apart hotel close to the metro & restaurant
The room was ready early as we arrived before check in time. The staff were pleasant, spoke English and very helpful. The hotel itself and the rooms were exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable (firm - the way we like it) There is so much to do in Barcelona and it is easy to get around from this location. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and outdoor cafes were the food is always so delicious.

City Break in Barcelona
I was not satisfied by a window not closing properly, but the gentlemen at the reception was very amiable and gave me another room, which was perfect. They also gave me indications on the best route to reach touristic objectives I was interested in. Overall I was very pleased with my stay at Accacia Suites.

We were only in Barcelona for a few days, wanted to be close to the sites but not pay a fortune for the opportunity, the Acacia Suites fit the bill. There was no view from our suite in fact the window had a film on them so you couldn't really see out, if you peaked you could see the alley and the building beyond, not really anything you would want to see. The room was very quiet, the subway was close by if you wished to use it and there were many places to eat close by. The room had everything you could want in it, we did have a hard time finding some of the light switches but eventually found them all. The reason I gave it a 3 for cleanliness is that the carpet really could have used a cleaning, other than that the place was fine.

Nice hotel in a nice area.
The room we were in had a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and dishes. The pull out bed for the third person was a bit narrow, but okay. The room was comfortable and clean, and within walking distance of the Gothic quarter, although we needed a taxi when it rained really hard. There is a metro station close to the hotel too.
