Predela 2 - Feb half-term skiing
2-bed, 2-shower/WC apartment. Spacious with decent balcony. Looked a little careworn and could do with a lick of paint, but clean on arrival. No kettle, so had to boil water for tea/coffee in a pan, which was slightly annoying, but fine apart from that. Nice pool and sauna/steam room area plus restaurant/bar and games room in the basement. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Represents good value for the price. Predela 2 is at the top end of Bansko, about 300m up the hill from the Gondola. You can get across the road (50m walk) up the mountain and directly onto the 'Ski Road' via a forest path (further 50m walk) which is useful for getting to the Gondola in the morning and even more so for getting home via the Ski Road after a day's skiing. Gondola queues at half-term were obscene (2hrs!) unless you queue from just after sunrise. We sacked it after an hour in the queue on day 1 and drove up the mountain each day (10-15 min drive, 12 Lev/ £5 per day parking and direct access to the ski area). Decent little ski resort and the old town is beautiful, but they really need to sort out the Gondola situation or they will kill the resort; Bansko has been allowed to get far too big for the ski area and current access capacity.

Food was really basic and not worth the money ... apart for that everthing was fine and the hotel had a storage room for ski and snowboards which was nice - apart of that everything was more or less clean and it was overall a good but not a exceptional stay

Arrived and was pleasantly surprised. The reception / lounge area is really lovely with a fire and nice decor so I am only basing my opinion on studio no 7. This room should not be in service due to the location of it. The side and back wall is the reception / lounge area. You can hear EVERY word of the receptionist, security guard and guests throughout the ENTIRE night. It is also the walkway for guests to get to the swimming pool / spa / restaurant so they will walk past at all hours. I tried to drown out the sound of all this with the TV but the sound went off after a day or two. Dont know why. I did return after a few days though. In regards to the actual room, when we arrived I thought it was fair enough for the price we paid, until I noticed a live wire out the wall. Previous guests(?) had pulled the SCART lead from the TV out the wall so the TV did not work. (Did get this fixed). The toaster did not work. There is no kettle which was fine as used the microwave to boil water but no coffee / tea mugs in the kitchen or a dish cloth / oven glove to remove any hot food from the oven. No plug for kitchen sink. Broken blinds. Could not use sauna / steam room as broken. Jacuzzi just loud play area for kids, not relaxing. My friends stayed in Predala LUX and their apartment was lovely. I did ask to change rooms but there were none available, I would of checked out but could not find another room due to New Years. Really hard to ski with sleep deprivation! Holiday ruined.

Nice Size and Good Views
It was large and had two bathrooms for the two bedrooms which worked great for our group of 4. It was as described and had great views from the balcony of the mountains. The value was great during the off season.

Great place to stay in Bansko
Really good trip to ski. First time in Bansko. Accommodation a 10min walk from everything going on with a few quieter bars, supermarkets and restaurants closer. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were perfect and aches and pains. Nice cheap bar next to the spa too. 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms perfect for family of 4...

Predela 2 is perfect for a skiing holiday and we would return again. It is a 7-10 minute walk into the main gondola area where there are many good restaurants - you can also walk just across the road from the apartments and ski down the ski road to gondola which is even quicker. There is a nice restaurant in Predela that is really good value it also does a breakfast buffet - this isn’t extensive but all of us found something we liked before we hit the slopes. There is a lovely pool and hot tub for after skiing and a sauna to chill out and sort your muscles out ! We had a 2 bedroom apartment which also had 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette area attached to a small lounge / sofa area. It was clean and functional - I would say 3 star equivalent- but a perfect base. Only slight downside was there was a slight smell of drains and cigarette smoke through a vent in one of the bathrooms.

Bankso Ski Trip
The room and spa were very nice, everything I expected. The rooms seem to have a range of different eminities I was lucky to grab a good room. My friend who paid more for spa access suite was disappointed to have a worser room than my standard, which also had access to the spa. Because everyone staying there had access to the spa. Location is ok if you don't mind the walk, there is a cut through to the slopes that we found on our second day that significantly shortens the walk and enables you to ski down to the gondola. This information world have been really useful on arrival, also one massive MUST DO for this ski resort. BEAT THE QUEUES FOR THE GONDOLA, GET IN THE QUEUE AT 7.30AM (otherwise face a 2 hour queue). If you can get an upper floor room I would advise that also. There were very loud gatherings in reception most nights which made it very difficult to sleep as the sound really travels. Staff were very helpful and most spoke good English. Had a 50min full body massage which was good value. Would stay here again if I was in the area. Skiing wasn't good enough for me to retuen unfortunately. Thanks for all your help.

We can say that the property and the stuff are always trying to give you the best to make the most of your time there feeling like you really are on holiday. They can help and advise you about anything that you would like. The check-in and check-out are very fast. Property very close to the Gondola and for who would like to rent ski equipment they can help with it as well. Nice spa with big swimming pool and jacuzzi, you can have a bit of training in the gym as well before going to relax in the sauna or can have a relaxing massage at cheap price. We're already thinking using their facilities next year as well.

Terrible stay
Arrived to the hotel on Dec 30th 2018 to be told the 3 bed apartment we booked was now not available and no explanation was provided. Our party of 6 had to separated into 2 different apartments, both of which were of a much lower standard and did not have many of the facilities/amenities which we had paid for. The rooms were outdated, bathrooms had dirty showers which were plugged with hair and the sitting room had a broken couch. Wifi also did not work. We then spoke with the hotel manger the following day who seemed unconcerned with the issues and all he would offer us was free breakfast. Very bad service.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the property. The staff were always friendly. Although we didn't use it during our short stay the lounge area looked nice with a warm fire, the pool was a good size and looked well kept. The only negative would be that there was no shower curtain which meant the bathroom got a bit wet, but it was always warm so dried very quickly. Overall an enjoyable stay and good value.

Room very tired looking, blinds broken and no plug in kitchen or bathroom sink made it hard for husband to have wet shave. Breakfast - attention to having cutlery , cups and glasses being available and hot food at all times.

Predela 2 was perfect for our family. An extra bonus was the spa facilities- so good after a days skiing! The only thing I would say is maybe they should update their double mattresses- we had to turn ours over and lay an extra duvet on top to make it more comfy! Other than that, great apartment for our wonderful skiing holiday!

Lovely studio, near the ski piste!!!
We had a great 3 day stay in one of the studios. Very cosy little studio with nice decor. The spa facilities were a real treat after a long day of skiing! Excellent and friendly service by reception staff, catered to our additional requests and ensured that we had a nice relaxing stay. Helped us with transfers to the airport on the last day at a last minute request which was extremely lovely of them. Provided with information on local amenities and going out places. 12/10 service, I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great location for the slopes and amazing hot tub
We stayed here in room 18 with out 2 children (7 & 5 years old) in the February half term. As they went to bed before us they got the bedroom which mean my husband and I got the sofa. One side was comfy but they other side was lumpy - next time we hope to get a 2 bed! The apartment is very basic but perfect for our needs. I was able to cook a curry one of the nights we were there and some pasta. Fridge space was great. Shower was hot and powerful though weirdly drains into the middle of the room and the bathroom was spacious. Lots of storage in the rooms for all our stuff though we didn't realise until we left that the radiator in the bedroom had leaked whilst we were there and a puddle of water was under our suitcase. Radiators worked well to dry our ski gear over night and dried off our suitcase well. Room was clean and linens smelt nice. Staff were friendly though evening staff had limited English. Was able to get a bathrobe for us all to wear down to the swimming pool. The hot tub was a perfect treat to the end of our day and we were able to watch the kids swimming whilst we soaked. Husband used the steam room and sauna. We were able to store our skis in the basement and our unit had boot driers which were very helpful. We left every morning at 715am, cut through the woods on to the ski road to get to the gondola for 730am to queue before it opened. Was very busy during school hols.

Overall - ok. we got a different room than requested. asked for 2 single bed - got a 1 double bed. we asked to change and encountered a no. the bath was leaking and the drain was not good (plumbing issues). breakfast was nice, room was hot. location is not good (need to walk a lot, no light at night). wiki is average minus.

Warm rooms close to gondola
The rooms were great, very warm and comfortable, The pool and Jacuzzi is always a plus after a full day of skiing. They also have 2 spa therapists, a man and a woman.. I would recommend to book a massage session in your last day so you don't get muscle fever. Reception staff was excellent, Big thanks again to Tsvety for helping with everything from laundry to booking a sky instructor.

Clean, warm and close to Gondola
2 friends staying in Studio with kitchen. Clean warm room (too warm at times), rooms a bit small but functional. Jacuzzi etc are great for after the slopes, ski cupboard with boot dryers for each room is a great bonus! Staff are helpful, late checkout wasn't a problem. 10min walk to Gondola or less if you ski.

Very good hotel!
We stayed in Predela 2 for 6 days. Self catering. Our apartment was 52. Nice, good size two rooms with everything you need inside. Kitchen nice as well. Be honest we were eating outside of hotel, so don't know anything about hotel food. Not far from Gondola. Our kids loved every moment in swimming pool. Me and my husband -hot tub. So good after 7-8 hours of skiing to have a rest in a hot tub with bubbles around!!!! Also nice steam room and sauna. Hotel provides robes and slippers for wearing in pools area. We are definitely coming back to Predela 2 in a future! Thanks for staff!

Apartamenty są niby nowe ale widać niedoróbki dość mocno(elementy wyposażenia odpadają nawet). Zdecydowanie w częściach wspólnych typu basen, sauna powinno być czyściej. Z reszta jakuzzi tez nie działało jak powinno. W apartamencie jest całe wyposażenie wiec jeśli ktoś ma ochotę można gotować.
