Room, including bathroom needs to be updated and mold removed. Dead plants on balcony should be removed. Walks in room had splatters of something. No hot water in shower & tub. Breakfast food was okay, very limited. Not refilled or refreshed. The pool needs to be re- tiled. Water level low. Shower area dirty and needs to be updated.

The building is older. Reminders me of a Best Western or Choice mid- range hotel. Bathroom had mold and needs some updating. Overall clean. Hallways are musty. Breakfast is lacking but convenient. Staff was nice but limited English. Washing machine is old. Pigeons poop on lanai. No where to dry clothes.

Breakfast quite basic Located close to Samitivej Hospital but deep inside 39 street Staff not very good in English compared to other hotels I stayed. Service below average compared to other hotels I stayed in.

Better choices
Pictures are deceiving. Location is difficult to get in and out of. Is within walking distance of Emporium. Rooms are in dire need of updating. Only one English-speaking channel on TV out of 175. Breakfast was good, but dining area is very small. I think there are better choices in Thonglor. Also, would not consider this a luxury hotel as advertised. More like a 2-star.

I enjoyed my one week stay very much. It started so well with the warm and welcome from the staff. I did not know the area but the staff helped me find food outlets. The room was large, a nice big tv and well fitted out with appliances

Dear Dear Probably one of the worse hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff are lovely and supportive. Breakfast lady’s doing there best. But Novotel should be ashamed of there name here. Obviously management don’t care about Acor group being shamed. Probably need replacing to comfortable in my opinion. Toilets and bathrooms are terrible, bedding old Rooms very dated. Old painted furniture. Toilet seats very old and disgusting. Air-con noisy, No safe. Carpets filthy dirty smelly Height restrictions 1.5m going to the rooms on number 8 so very dangerous. All doors slamming all night as the doors are on self closers and cannot be closed quietly. I had to insert sink & bath plugs and block drains in every hole to stop the back flow of of sewer smells coming into the room. They Wanted to move me to the Pullman 30 mins away as the room was overbooked, had to wait until 5pm to check in. But I Wished I did now having stayed in this horrible hotel. The pool is dirty and smells not nice for children or anyone. No towels. Birds all on balconies making noise at sunrise. Lots of bird droppings, horrible. Picture attached. Good location in the Sukumvit ski. Many places to eat within walking distance and they provide shuttle service to the EMQuartier mall (BTS station). All the staff members were very professional, helpful and friendly. The room is extra large. *Seems that the hotel does not get the needed attention from Noveltel because I overheard the kitchen buffet area personal complain that the management did not have the funds to cover some supplies and that person had to use their own money to purchase the juices, the sugar, the jams. In addition, the towels are the thinnest and torn towels I have ever encountered in a "top" hotel. The sewer smell in the restroom is prominent if the air-condition is not on. I understand that this hotel is in the heart of BKK and obviously, lots of infrastructure all around but the smell can be a nuisance.

It is an extremely old property despite renovation. Breakfast selection is limited, you’ve to select a main course (terribly oily noodles and fried rice) and egg from a menu (not a buffet style). Room is extremely run down, torn bed spread which was unclean, spoilt washing machine and the interior of the room is super dusty. The staff did not bother to change the toilet rug and dared to put the dirty toilet rug back after house keeping. Room air con was faulty. Towels were torn. Swimming pool isn’t well maintained. The hotel provides a tuk tuk service to the nearest mrt station, but this was not told to us when we checked in. The staff even told us to walk to the mrt station which is a about 20-30mins walk from the hotel. Terrible service. For an Accor brand, it is certainly a disgrace for a 4 star hotel. It is more of a Air BNB apartment than hotel. Novotel at Platinum is way more worth the dollar.

Total disappointment
This hotel is not 4-star hotel at all. Old-fashioned with very limited services. No coffee maker or a kettle in the room, no vending machines. Broken furniture in the room and torn bed sheets. The hair dryer was broken. The official check in time is 2 pm. On my arrival at 5 pm the room was not ready. I had to call the hotel.com to resolve the issue. Two grey color heavily used towels were hanging in the bath room. The bottom line, the hotel is 2.5 stars. Do not book.

Expectation Exceeded!
Noooiiice!!! I chose the 1bdrm suite (instead of studio) after reading comments/reviews of others prior to my trip. After scanning quite a few hotels in Bangkok, I landed on this gem....and it was a good choice indeed! Very refreshing after flight and looong taxi ride (most of it simply stuck in traffic...recommend the train/BTS line from BKK!). Iwas looking for space, modernity, and a balcony. The 1bdrm suite had it! The people at the front desk were very very helpful in contacting airport/airline as one of my bags was left behind. They delivered it to the hotel! ....from BKK! I apologize for not remembering the young man's name, who was instrumental in helping me to recover my bag. He was working that Thursday evening (28 Nov). Thank you much! Special shout out to Ms. Pearry! She was courteous and supportive to my wife. Recommending various places nearby including a very nice restaurant just around the corner. I think it was called At-Ta-Rote. The manager there was really nice as well, giving us the ingredients to certain dishes that were..uuuuhmmm yummy! Lol! Overall a grear stay! In fact, we might not stay there anymore because we enjoyed the room so much we didnt even go out at all on one of the days while there! Lol! FoodPanda played a role in it too! Just too convenient! Lol! Seriously, didn't know what we'd expect but expectation was EXCEEDED! I found no real fault in this hotel stay! Can't wait to go back [gotta make up for that lost day! Jejeje!]

Big rooms, near to 7-11 / family Mart. 10-15mins walk to BTS. Hotel do provide free tuktuk to the nearest mall every hour. Full amenities in room.

Not American 4-star... I may rate it 3 star. I was in Bangkok for 1 night (10-12 hours), so not sure on location, but it didn't look prime location (small alley type location). Not very clean or welcoming decor (dark and dull instead). Rooms were ok, beds were ok. Towels were very old request change, got similar one again. No other service use, so cannot say. I was with few friends, so it was ok... but will never use this hotel for family

Bad smell in lobby, had to change our room because of again serious bad smell kin he room they gave us. Poor reception services. Book their Tuk Tuk to go at Samitivej hospital and call 5 minutes prior the time to make sure its all good and they let other people take it and go. Had to run outside to catch it. Room outdated, service poor and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am a frequent flying with multiple airlines and travel a lot. Worst ever.

A hidden Gem off Soi 39 Sukhumvit
I’ve stayed there 9 times in the last 2 months. Hotel is great, a slightly bigger apartment style with full service. Secure luggage storage and most rooms were quiet. A few units had ACs that were a little aggressive but engineering was able to fix most, only 1 time had requested and received a room change. Very responsive management and super helpful staff. The location is central but not noisy, tuk tuk shuttle to EM Quartiers and BTS Station during peak hours! 10 min by Motorbike Taxi to the water taxi bus straight to Pratunam wholesale district and then to old town. Definitely worthy.

Condo was great but pool was a joke it was a paddling pool not a swimming pool. Staff were fantastic ,only drawback is ,it is a long walk in heat to Bts at least 1 km, they do have an hourly tuk tuk shuttle, but you know what they are like when you decide to go you have just missed it.
