Priced very high for what you get, the room is very small compared to other hotels of that price and the hot tub is gone and the steam room smelled like mildew to the point that we could not even go into it.

The kitchenette was wonderful, the room was clean. I appreciated the Rocky Mountain Soap. My kids loved the pool, a hot tub would be lovey for the parents to relax in while their kids swim.

What I like about the hotel was the attached kitchen area with kitchen wares. The unique bed in the bedroom with 2 single beds and one queen bed was convinient to the number of people in our family. The hotel offered a 15$ coupon per day for restaurants near the hotel and bus pass for the rest of our stay.

We went to Banff as a family for a weekend getaway. We stayed in a separate 1 bedroom room (akin to accommodations in a 4-plex). Firewood and fireplaces were provided and an excellent feature! The view and bus options were great. Finishings had been updated. The kids were excited to use the pool, however it was so horribly cold. Another hotel guest asked if the temperature could be increased (the air or the pool) and they stated that it wasn't possible. Perhaps it's set at a certain level and never varies - but I encourage a review as to what temperature it should be set at, as it was disappointing for a few different parties of guests. Our room wasn't the cleanest. We found hair, pieces of garbage and the compost had not been removed. We needed to request towels, as they weren't replaced but honestly, that's not a big deal at all. Overall, the layout of the room was great and potential was there. We did have a lovely time despite the above details. Although Banff is expensive and this was a more economic option, it was just an average experience.

The location and views are great. You can take transit to get down into the heart of Banff or take a bit of a walk down. My only complaint is the noise from construction, but i understand hotel upgrades are necessary.

Even though the property is quite old, it is very cute with lots of character. A little maintenance would be nice but the important stuff was great. (Nice bathroom, beds were comfy, everything clean and tidy.) Would love to have had a little table and less rickety chairs on the balcony but love that we could sit out there with our dog. Smart TV with access to Netflix would be nice to have. Oh, and ice trays please! We stayed in one of the three pet friendly mountain cabins and will definitely be back.

The condition of the room is very dated and was not clean. They are renovating, which is clearly needs. The prices reflected should be after a renovation, not prior to. A thorough clean is expected upon check in, this was not the case. Very dusty and smelly old carpets. Poor curtains so lots of light when trying to sleep.

Nice interiors. Rooms are quite warm, would be concerned in the summer! Ongoing exterior upgrades look good, interiors are in great condition. Pool is fine but small, change rooms are a bit of a dungeon. Don't stay for the extra amenities, stay for quieter location and nearby to Tunnel Mountain. Transit pass is great.

Room was fabulous and would stay again. Loved the kitchenette and was super clean. There was construction but not on the weekend we stayed so not an issue. Only thing we didnt like was the pools. Hot tub was not working wich we werent told. And the pool was freezing. Otherwise was great for our family

The property is very clean and well taken care of. Currently under slight renovations, these renovations did not affect our stay. The property offers complimentary shuttle service and it was easy to use and navigate. This is especially useful for families with small childrens. Despite the cold the playground was well maintained and utilized by guests. We truly enjoyed our stay and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We would stay here again.

The room smelled of old smoke . We are non smokers . No bathroom fan , but states with new renovation is central . Major exterior renovations throughout resort . Staff were awesome check in . Indoor pool was cool 1 vent functioning, asked for pool towels was right there . The steam room non functional. $$ was expensive, but comparable to other properties . Would stay again , staff are great
