"The hotel was the only one in the downtown area that I found offered a free shuttle service to/from the airport (as well as being able to drop off/pick up at sights in the area). The location is behind a youth center so is quiet and just around the bend from one of the main thoroughfares. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is nice with shower partitioned from the rest of the bathroom. The wifi is very slow and buffers a lot — but when in Brunei, do you really need to be connected all...

Visiting the Sultanate during Ramadan was interesting and challenging and the Brunei managed to accommodate foreign tourists with great service and sensitivity. "Staff friendly and helpful. Even though we had some miscommunications these were rectified fairly. Great location as you can walk to most places although it is hot. Best to hire your own car if you are here or ensure you have the dart app. Lots of places to go and eat in centre which I’d recommend. Pool was closed! "

Immediate area serves local tastes but too limited for o/s tourists. For transport must rely on Dart App and drivers. A system that appears to work ok like Malaysian Grab. "

"The check in was a breeze as we arrived super late and no one was in the front desk. They made sure tho that the code for the door was there and we could get in easily. The communication they provided was so clear that we didn’t have any dramas at all."
