This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. "The room was a lot smaller than expected and the bedroom was actually on extend to the lounge with only a bifold door separating them. You couldn’t watch the tv as the sofas were not able to be positioned in the right place. Unfortunately there was shards of glass on one of the sofas which my daughter cut her hand on. They did attempt to hoover it up with the most disgusting dirty hoover I have ever seen. But in the end had to change the cover. They weren’t very apologetic about this and didn’t seem to understand the potential implications. The radiator in the “bedroom” wasn’t working and had to be fixed. There is only one plug socket in the kitchen so you have to change the kettle, toaster, coffee machine over as you need to use them. In general there aren’t enough plug sockets and the room is really dated. Ski locker is very small for 4 people skiing. Great location and views, and snow was lovely."
