"Friendly hotel"
The stay was a short pleasant one where the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean tidy and the en-suite came with separate bath shower. A good location for easy access to shopping malls in city centre.

"Excellent value and location"
The iStay Precinct is located about a 10 min walk from the main shopping, banking and entertainment centers of Adelaide (also 10 min from the central market or a supermarket and many restaurants), and most of the rooms are in a 15-story building off the main road and not in the 3-story front section. Hence, it is quiet. It has good security and great facilities. Not only is there a microwave and fridge in the apartment, but also an electric range and a washing machine/dryer. There is also an enclosed patio with a table and chairs for each room, and the upper glass windows can be opened. I would certainly stay there again.

"Convenient location, reasonable price."
The location was convenient to downtown sights. We stayed twice before and after a tour. The first time we were upgraded to a mini suite which was very nice and the second time we had an executive room. Both were well appointed comfortable rooms. The front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants in the area.

"excellent hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is convenience as it is located at central Adelaide CBD. It is within the walking distance to Cathedral Church, Victoria Square, China town, Rundel mall, Casino, etc... The hotel is clean and excellent for the budget of what we paid. Bonus for us: We had a car and the car can be parked in front of the hotel for 3 hours ($1.70 per hour). It is free parking from 6pm to 8am. It is free parking on Sunday and Public Holiday, I think. It is a lot better than car park. It is about $33 for a full day parking if you want to take your car to the car park. This is a bonus for us.

Pocket Guide: Adelaide Adelaide CBD Hotels

Surrounded by parkland almost three times the size of Manhattan’s Central Park, Adelaide is spread over 1.6 square kms (0.6 square mile) in a north-south, east-west grid of wide streets and four main squares. The main street, King William, runs from north to south through Victoria Square in the heart of the city. Some 29 parks are dotted within the central business district, and Australia’s most concentrated collection of department stores, boutiques, and specialty shops is located in Rundle Mall, home to more than 800 retailers. The city boasts in excess of 700 restaurants, cafes, and bars, with entire streets – such as Gouger and Rundle – evolving as “eat streets” of al fresco dining and international menus. Adelaide is renowned for its arts and theatre, and is the gateway to some of Australia’s most famous wine-growing regions. Free city-loop buses (“the Connector” and the solar-powered “Tindo”) visit the main tourist attractions.
