Very little parking. There is no coffee or hot water in the lobby like most hotels. The sink and toilet would make a ‘gurgle’ everytime you went to flush or drain the sink. This is a very basic hotel, with a big price tag
The hotel itself was fine. We were there to attend a concert nearby. Unfortunately, it is in farm country and the smell from the surrounding farms is awful. Of course, this is not the hotel’s fault but people booking should be aware of this.
I was expecting it to be loud given it’s right off the highway, but it was so quiet in the room ! I was very pleasantly surprised. The kids loved that the pool was open until 11, which gave me time to put the baby to bed before they got back .
A great place and very friendly staff! Love that their fitness facility and pool are open at 6:30 am. My only criticism is that the pool itself needs cleaning badly around the edge under the lip. It’s very dirty.
Other than that everything was in good shape and clean.
The room was awesome. Comfortable and clean. The staff were remarkable. Jim behind the counter was FANTASTIC in helping us with our Wi Fi. He was very personable with a great sense of humour. He definitely made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much Jim. We will certainly recommend this Hotel.
We booked a night at the hotel to have some family time and go swimming with our kids. They had private swimming lessons all day. The pool is not that big so it was hard to have space to swim and play. It was very disappointing. Yes, hotel pools can get busy but in my experience is rare. We usually have the pool mainly to ourselves. I wouldn’t stay there with the kids again because of this. There are many other options for hotels with pools that don’t do swimming lessons. I called before I booked to ask if the pool was open and was told it was but was not informed of the lessons or I would have booked elsewhere. Otherwise we were happy with the hotel overal.
I don’t believe a good hotel would leave the door to a person’s room wedged open and leave the room unattended all day. Then after I find the door I find someone has gone through my bag. I believe a hotel should have a quiet time, the party next to my room that I am sure the front desk must have heard, lasted until 2:00 am
