"Excellent for the price, location and convenience"
I stayed here for a weekend with the wife. I actualy made late arangements to haved 1 day earlier checkin on the same day without any drama. I stayed here with a friend and his girlfriend who slept on the fold out bed couch thingy. They were amazed at the quality of the room and the space for the price paid. Value packed as we had wanted a night on the town and by the time we added transport ect well worth the price. The room was very clean, and large. stove top, fridge, washing machine and drier all in the kitchen and nicely hidden away in cupboards. The only thing of a negative I could say is that the hall way between one of the levels smelled of damp. But that could be due to renovations beeing undertaken at time Also to note there is a woolworths that was to open a few days later across the road at the St Kilda tram station. aprox 100mtrs away across the road. The staff were friendly and parking available was secure. They have there own parking as well as a pay to park underneath the building. So ensure you are in the correct place. There is a little resteraunt right next door that operates from morning till night and the food and service is superb. with very decent prices. In fact the whole street has some awsome food places. I will very happily stay here again. Walking distance to everywhere in st Kilda and just a tram ride to the city. A taxi cost us $70 early in the morning to take us to the domestic airport but this can be done much cheaper

"One night stay"
Friendly, helpful, professional staff even though they were very busy at check in and we had to wait half an hour. Our room was overbooked so we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite (for a family of two parents and two children, 9 and 12!) The kids loved spending time in the jacuzzi. The room was clean and modern and overlooked St Kilda beach. We would definitely stay here again. We only stayed overnight - we were in town for a sports competition.

"Location location location!"
Close to the trams to get into the city and the beach (better in summer of course). Handy cafe for breaky in the morning, though heaps of places around to try out and eat. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I was happy with my accommodation.

"Nice little find in St Kilda."
I was in need of some accommodation close to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for the night of The Long Walk & Dreamtime at the MCG (31/5). All reasonably priced accommodation close to here was booked out but I was lucky enough to find a last minute deal at Sixty Two On Grey. Housed in a beautiful old building with modern additions at the rear, the accommodation was excellent. My room was at the rear of the original property surrounded by about 4 other rooms, with a central courtyard area. The room was a fantastic size with all the amenities that you need, with a small covered deck out front.

"First time in a Hostel. Wasn't disappointed!"
Bit of a daunting experience having my first stay in a hostel but I was so surprised! Habitat HQ is amazing it has everything you need, kitchen, entertainment and the rooms are clean, beds comfort is OK. Staff are great, showers are immaculate. Not one complaint after a week here :) had to extend my stay after 3 nights it was that good. Short walk to see the penguins and an amazing Spanish hot chocolate place called San ucho i think that's the name... not too far either.
